@@alphabravoindia5267 You're right, this particular MD-80 is an MD-81. The early models came from the factory with Pratt and Whitney JT8D-209 engines that produced about 16,000 lb of thrust. The later MD-81s came with the more powerful JT8D-217A/C and -219 engines.
@@jermainesimmons2944 Come on who doesn't? Oh right, those passengers who only care about their comfort and not the full picture (like 75% of travellers).
Great to see N682RW, Olympia Aviation’s ex-Swissair MD-81 HB-ING! She is one of only six MD-81s still flying, with the other five flying for LASER (4) and Red Air (1). I believe she is also the oldest MD-80 still flying at 40.2 years old!
I lived in Romulus back when DTW was still busy and that pesky purple Braniff flew over my house 6: 45 every morning. And wow that md81 was a blast from the past.
Great update - at first I thought this was a DTW video that’s been around a few years until I saw the BCS1 and BCS3, planes that weren’t yet around on the earlier editions. Thanks
Awesome catch of of my favorite aircraft B717-200 N947AT I love B717-200s Delta only has 45 B717-200s left in service and they’re based & maintained out of Atlanta and Detroit
Hello @Lepp Aviation. I liked all the videos you posted here and would like to use it in my Air Disasters series coming up soon. So can I get the permission for using these for my own videos? I will definately credit you to my max possibilities. (giving links in the description, in the End Screen, the top left I cards etc.) Also I will use the videos posted by Royal Bengal Aviation (have his permission) along with your one if you allow me. Hope to hear from u soon ;) -All the best from the future; Avion Ade

Awesome buddy, I like that you label where the airplane is landing, the duration, the model, the age and the airline!!
Same kent
8:40 Good to see an MD-80 still flying 40 years later!
Olympia Aviation. It's actually the oldest MD-80 still flying.
Headed to Columbus. Red Wings?
Now I'm beginning to wish American and Delta kept those MD-80s in service for another couple years

Great vid the delta sky team 764 was in Detroit a couple days ago
Great piece.
Great Job Lepp! I just want to ask if i could use some of your clips in a Touch It-Aviation video im making? {Full credit will be given if accepted}
@2:54 Sometimes Delta will throw us a curveball with this flight. It was an A330 the other day!
Awesome plane spotting at Detroit airport, please do a plane spotting at Phoenix Sky Harbor Int'l Airport! :)
I was just there yesterday evening. I took a CRJ700 to CVG at 905pm
Red wings going to play blue jackets ?

I’d really like to see some more regional jets out of dtw!
I love the A350 at 6:35, the biggest of this bunch! But I also like the 767 at 9:50 as that's the only other wide-body jet from this bunch!
8:42 is this owned by the team or is it a charter?
Exelent video thank you 👍.
What location is this? I’d love to try it!
Wery cool video, you are best, i subbed
Wait a minute Delta using an a350 for domestic trips ??? That is very interesting. This pandemic really has change alot in aviation.
Fantastic video mate... Wow some absolutely stunning shots loved it... Keep up the great work 👍🏻😃
I would have preferred maybe another week of flights. It was spring break week so all the flights were going to Florida
Wow that’s cool
Nice job 😀
Very nice video, question for you, how do you know where are the planes are going?
Flightradar24 :)
6:23 Beautiful A350
Where do you spot at? I'm from Lansing and would like to spot here but no idea where to go.
Love the video bud especially since The Detroit Airport is my home airport and home of my channel Caleb’s Aviation!
Me and my sister fly into grand rapids tomorrow I fly from ATL to GRR and she fly from DTW to GRR
Pretty cool
nice video!
Can you do some videos at Boston Logan airport?
What spot is this I live in Ann Arbor
Delta airlines is really cool
I wonder why The Detroit Tigers were flying to Columbus 🤔
nice video , liked
Nice
strange how noisy the a319 was compared to 737-900er from delta
That’s because the a319 is much older than the 737-900er.
why do they fly heavies (A350, 777, 767) domestically? pilot training? charter?
Not much international flying...and there is demand for some of these routes
You are correct they are trying to the pilots some hours in the newer models

Why is there so much plane spotting at Detroit? (I’m just asking)
I believe he is from Michigan, so easy to go there and Grand Rapids.
Well many airlines have been cutting flights to Michigan. (Idk why)
