I filmed this with my Samsung S21 Phone and DJI Gimbal
When I was a kid decades ago I used to walk along that small canal. “Lod” means tubing, so Khlong Lod means narrow canal. I was very glad that the BMA dredged this and other canals in the old Bangkok city in preparation for the auspicious coronation ceremony few years ago. Now the water quality is a lot better than before, yet once I still saw a food vendor dump a pot of noodle soup into it. Hope the residents around that canal help preserve the cleanliness of the canal and the surrounding areas.
Nice people there gpood you nride with Bike Take care see ya.
Watching your beautiful video here..beautiful content nice place 👌 thanks
I have never heard about this park. It looks very nice to chill out and enjoy the nature. Thanks for the upload.
This place near my house, I saw you on the day you take video. Welcome to Thailand.
Just left Bangkok, did an ASQ quarantine stay. Wish I'd had more time to explore! Setting up an office to work from in Chiang Mai and moving as a resident, I'll be back!
Thank you for the update Khun Jaroen. Bangkok evolves so quick!
I totally forgot about that park. And, that lady played very well. Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much for your many videos. I am already looking forward to my trip to Bangkok. you have shown me many great destinations. Best regards from Berlin, Germany.

Glad to see a good quality video! Big like! New fan here! Nice!
Nice ride today, beautiful area along the khlong….
As I heard, this whole canal (Lot Wat Rachaborphit), and Klong Ong Ang (The whole canal) are being renovated to bring back their original beauty as part of Bangkok Old Town, tourist boat/kayat and walkway will/may be available then. The North part of Klong Ong Ang is under renovated to the Golden Temple, and may be finally ended at Chao Phraya River, near Khao San Road (Phra Sumen Fort).
SUCH A NICE PLACE! IT IS AMAZING THAT BANGKOK IS ALWAYS IMPROVING THE CITY,IT'S ALSO NICE TO SEE SO MANY GREEN AREAS,NICE WAY TO START THE DAY! THANKS AGAIN JEROEN FOR SUCH A NICE VIDEO!
So glad to see.. Thanks. And, dang, that is some smooth bike steering and weaving on the klong walk under renovation. We’re impressed!
Boy! You are riding your bike very well !!
Nice walk tour video, very nice scenery along the way
I love this neighbourhood, stayed on that little canal a couple of times, when the last part wasn't open yet. Love the Dutch inspired ophaalbrug really really much...😉
Interesting, Peter and i walking around this Canal to the lifting bridge and the park. At the 5. September.
That looks a really nice relaxed area 👍 thanks for your videeeeeo 🙏🇹🇭👍
It's a very nice thing to take a walk or biking in Bangkok old town area in the weekend.
Great video.
Love the Khlong walkways ❤😊
Good to see all this walking and bike path.. eager to get back to BKK to visit these nice places... 👍
Another great ride!!!
สวัสดีครับ🙏🏻❤️🇹🇭
I am always wondering how you can find these nice places and bike on the small streets with only 1 hand and filming. 🙏
Nice video.
You should come out with us one day. We go out west of Bangkok, early mornings, usually Wednesdays.
I saw you on your SRT Red Line clip.

Cool to see middle-aged ladies do stuff that hurts me to watch! Well done ladies!
love
👍👍👍👍👍
Nice meeting you MAX !
Ek hou baie van die nuwe verbeterings en ogradering van hierdie dinamiese stad Bangkok. In jou ondervinding is Bangkok baie ( veel) meer duurder as 5 jaar gelede. Is dit meer duurder vir expats deesdae.
You know Bangkok more than me even though I was born here.
You’re getting yourself into trouble with that tourist remark and next time might have to go to Rommaninat park just around the corner where they have a nice exhibition about correctional facilities 🤣😉😆
Haha, oeps. The Guard Towers are still there.
Mate, around 4:00 you nearly fell into that hole - be careful ^__ __^
Dont worry. I was 100% in control.

You can't get to Sam Yot MRT station by MRT with a nonfoldable bike right?
Unfortunately not. The MRT only allows foldable bicycles.
CAREFUL! don't ride your bic into a Khlong. There would be nobody to rescue you. At any rate, Bangkok does have some quiet neighborhoods beyond rhe pulse and pollution of the tourist and red-light areas
The water was very smelly when we walked there
I wasn't offended by THAT remark Jeroen, but I think Thai people should..! What I gathered from it is not accusing tourists of being thieves, but rather saying that Thai thieves will come back when Tourists return.
Bangkok is probably the safest place I have ever been in my life. If I leave my bicycle somewhere I do not have to worry that a Thai person will steal it. That's what it meant, haha.
@@globaltravelmate well then I'm offended haha😄. But surely someone who lived in BKK also realises the fact that foreign tourists hardly ever steal things in Bangkok either!
@@josephjasem7926 haha, it was all meant in good fun :-)
👍👍👍
