Excellent tutorial. I initially had a problem trying to get Starter Templates working on my WAMP / Win 10 laptop. A limitation with the Windows system doesn't allow colons ":" in the pathnames used by PHP when attempting to import the templates. I've since set up a Hostinger account (shared hosting runs on Linux). The Love Nature template imported ok. But what's really cool is that I can import any template page, or part of a page, or blocks, to add to my website. The design possibilities are amazing! /:-) Thanks and a tip o' the hat
I'm watching this following along, but because this video is now 7 months old, there's quite a few things that have changed. It's taking a while to figure out the new locations for parts of the builder. But at least it's given me a good starting point.

One of the best tutorials ever. I'm trying to decide on a website builder to master. I heard the elementor plug-in makes your website slow and that WordPress websites need constant maintenance and updating your plug-ins to prevent your entire website from breaking. How is you experience related to that? Do you have to update plug-ins every few weeks or is it a good solution to make a website for a client and then leave them alone with very basic maintenance they can easily handle?

Awesome video! I'm currently building a website for a non-profit organization and as part of my portfolio to transition from Bookkeeping to Marketing/Website Building. As a newbie I have a quick question to confirm (and I might be missing something): Do I need to first upgrade/subscribe to any Wordpress plans (Starter, Explorer, Creator, Entrepreneu, etc.), before purchasing/subscribing to a Hostinger plan? Or do the same as in the video, directly purchase a Hostinger plan then build the website via Wordpress & Elementor without any prior WP plans? Thanks and I appreciate any responses.
Did you figure it out? You don't need a wordpress paid plan for this to work. I can't speak to hostingers setup, but wordpress is free to install. On my hosting provider I know I can install wordpress through cpanel I'd assume hostinger is similar. I self host for playing with wordpress as I've just started with it. I was able to install it and set it up fine. Basically I just followed this guide from after the chapter about installing wordpress and I got the same functionality.

Good tutorial Thank you- but there is a glitch or something that i do not get - as it is impossible on my side to change the current pictures and replace them with the ones in the gallery. i am not sure what i am missing. I reset 2 times and start over 2 times; still cannot remove pictures without removing the complete container/box. May be you could do a short video with just this part. thank you.

I absolutely LOVE your teaching style. I'll go into that later. For now, at 30:06 of your video, I went to pages and edit, but there wasn't an option of "edit with elementor." What did I do wrong? Also, during your video, I didn't have the option of selecting Elementor (during the pictures of that and the beaver, etc), so I installed an Elementor Website Builder plug-in separately. Things just aren't working. :(. Help.
Question - I paid for the second plan with Wordpress, domain hosted by Google (now squarespace). I'm transfering the domain hosting to Hostinger. Once that's done, will I need to still be paying for my Wordpress plan, or will the Hostinger plan cover some of that?

Thank you for this video. When I click into the Starter Templates, it does not give me the option to choose Elementor. There is just a library of templates. It may be an easy answer, but I'm not sure what to choose (no Block Editor, no Beaver either.)
Never mind. It doesn't give you the three boxes (Block, Ele or Beave) anymore. It auto-advances to the next screen and you have to click the dropdown up top to choose Elementor.
When I installed the templates as described there is no option to choose the editor. After the template has finished installing there pages are there without the option to edit with Elementor. If you install Elementor yourself and edit the pages with Elementor there is only 1 container and all entire content is inside 1 text box so I cannot see an easy way to drag the individual text lines into a new container.

After installing the theme on my end. I click on view website, like you show in the video, and yours view the home page imahe from top to bottom of screen, mine only views image a bit with white background showing Our Services at botto,m of screen. Also my header with logo and menu dows not show full with as in your example video. How can I get it ti show like yours?

I want to move forward and build a web site and use your information to purchase the hostinger web site. I have my own domain name I purchases with another company, at what point in the set up process with Hostinger do I add that without going out of your instructional process?
I have added the same template as you did, however, is made up only from one container and whatever pictures and text I have there, are all together. If I want to change anything, I will have to do it in '"CONTENT "'', in the text editor. And is all there in the text editor, the entire page with all images that are in the container. Don't know if it makes sense, but maybe they have changed something since you have done the video. Is the same for all templates.
I have the same problem. Going crazy for days now. What he shows on his computer and what I have on mine is not the same. The first picture on the home page is a background image. And I wasn't able to replace it. After hours of searching, I got this from Elementor website: "To solve the mixed content issues, see URL change disrupts Elementor functioning. Server settings (file permission issues) The server can block the transfer of pictures in the following ways: When importing templates from one localhost to another localhost. When importing templates from one site to another. To solve this issue, ask your hosting company to ensure the following: The option allow_url_fopen is activated The function file_get_contents is not blocked Try to import the templates again. The images should appear." I uninstalled everything and started from scratch. Hopefully, it will work now. Please let me know if you have any information. Thank you
I have encountered the same problem as you so I understand exactly what you mean. The top image never shows up as part of image selection where it can then be replaced.

Hello..please I'm stuck at the container and elements portion. For some reason, my container structure bar displays only text editor...there are no layers for individual elements on the site.. I have been searching on Google to find a way to troubleshoot this but I haven't succeeded. Please can you put me through it?

You don't need a wordpress paid plan for this to work. I can't speak to hostingers setup, but wordpress is free to install. On my hosting provider I know I can install wordpress through cpanel I'd assume hostinger is similar.
I self host for playing with wordpress as I've just started with it. I was able to install it and set it up fine. Basically I just followed this guide from after the chapter about installing wordpress and I got the same functionality.

Good tutorial Thank you- but there is a glitch or something that i do not get - as it is impossible on my side to change the current pictures and replace them with the ones in the gallery. i am not sure what i am missing. I reset 2 times and start over 2 times; still cannot remove pictures without removing the complete container/box. May be you could do a short video with just this part. thank you.

I absolutely LOVE your teaching style. I'll go into that later. For now, at 30:06 of your video, I went to pages and edit, but there wasn't an option of "edit with elementor." What did I do wrong? Also, during your video, I didn't have the option of selecting Elementor (during the pictures of that and the beaver, etc), so I installed an Elementor Website Builder plug-in separately. Things just aren't working. :(. Help.
Plugins and Astra theme require Creator Plan which is then becoming costly vs other Web Site Builders due to the learning curve of Wordpress

Question - I paid for the second plan with Wordpress, domain hosted by Google (now squarespace). I'm transfering the domain hosting to Hostinger. Once that's done, will I need to still be paying for my Wordpress plan, or will the Hostinger plan cover some of that?

After selecting the "Starter Template" I did not see the prompt for three options - Block Editor, Elementor, or Beaver Builder - I am also in the US.
Thank you for this video. When I click into the Starter Templates, it does not give me the option to choose Elementor. There is just a library of templates. It may be an easy answer, but I'm not sure what to choose (no Block Editor, no Beaver either.)
Never mind. It doesn't give you the three boxes (Block, Ele or Beave) anymore. It auto-advances to the next screen and you have to click the dropdown up top to choose Elementor.
When I installed the templates as described there is no option to choose the editor. After the template has finished installing there pages are there without the option to edit with Elementor. If you install Elementor yourself and edit the pages with Elementor there is only 1 container and all entire content is inside 1 text box so I cannot see an easy way to drag the individual text lines into a new container.

After installing the theme on my end. I click on view website, like you show in the video, and yours view the home page imahe from top to bottom of screen, mine only views image a bit with white background showing Our Services at botto,m of screen. Also my header with logo and menu dows not show full with as in your example video. How can I get it ti show like yours?

how would you go about charging clients for hosting would you buy the hosting plans for the client or make the website then allow them to buy their own hosting plan
I want to move forward and build a web site and use your information to purchase the hostinger web site. I have my own domain name I purchases with another company, at what point in the set up process with Hostinger do I add that without going out of your instructional process?
I have added the same template as you did, however, is made up only from one container and whatever pictures and text I have there, are all together. If I want to change anything, I will have to do it in '"CONTENT "'', in the text editor. And is all there in the text editor, the entire page with all images that are in the container. Don't know if it makes sense, but maybe they have changed something since you have done the video. Is the same for all templates.
I have the same problem. Going crazy for days now. What he shows on his computer and what I have on mine is not the same. The first picture on the home page is a background image. And I wasn't able to replace it.
After hours of searching, I got this from Elementor website:

When importing templates from one localhost to another localhost.
When importing templates from one site to another.

Try to import the templates again. The images should appear."
I uninstalled everything and started from scratch. Hopefully, it will work now.

I have encountered the same problem as you so I understand exactly what you mean. The top image never shows up as part of image selection where it can then be replaced.

Hello..please I'm stuck at the container and elements portion. For some reason, my container structure bar displays only text editor...there are no layers for individual elements on the site.. I have been searching on Google to find a way to troubleshoot this but I haven't succeeded. Please can you put me through it?
