It’s literally the best stuff I’ve ever used! All of my neighbors use professional fertilizer people and I use milorganite. We all have irrigation etc. and guess what, my lawn is thicker and darker than any of theirs. Amazing stuff

@@MiguelMorales-fd2eh@MiguelMorales-fd2eh When you use Milorganite with other fertilizers, we caution you not to over-apply nitrogen fertilizer. Check the label of the product you applied for timing instructions. Typically, after 4-6 weeks you can put down an application for Milorganite. Milorganite doesn't contain salts so it will not burn your lawn, however, your lawn can only take up so many nutrients. Over-fertilization can result in nutrient runoff into our waterways and wasted money, product, and time. Over-fertilization can also stress out the turf plant and cause disease issues.

I’m trying to apply this on my front yard which is 1,000 square feet the only problem is that is I’m using my Scott’s drop spreader but there’s no setting for a drop spreader just for broad spreaders. Can you help me out as to which setting I should use ?

Hi! For the Scotts Accu Green Series (1000, 2000, 3000) drop spreader, use the setting of 10. When using a drop spreader, overlap the wheel tracks. If you have a different Scott's spreader, watch this video on how to calibrate your spreader in 6 steps. ruclips.net/video/8kStS1IKVU4/видео.html or go to www.milorganite.com/lawn-care/spreader-settings/calibrate-spreader

Hello! Trees and shrubs surrounded by a lawn regularly fertilized will need little or no fertilization. They’ll get their nourishment when you fertilize the lawn. Those grown in planting beds or landscaped areas with no lawn may need to be fertilized, especially in sandy soils, which have little or no organic matter.
The best way to determine whether your trees and shrubs need a nutritional boost is to have your soil tested. Your local county horticulture extension office will likely offer this service. If soil testing isn’t an option, look for indicators that your trees and shrubs may need to be fertilized: leaves that are pale-colored, smaller than normal, or dropping at odd times of the year, or twigs and branches that are dead or show stunted growth. ❓❔❓Whenever I put Milorganite fertilizer down, it gets moldy. Is it supposed to do that❔

When the weather is hot, muggy, and wet with little or no air movement, a white mold like fuzz can develop on the Milorganite granules on the soil surface. This mold will not hurt your lawn or plants and it is not harmful to you. Your soil is breaking down the granules which is normally doesn’t occur on the soil surface and is not seen because the breakdown occurs in the soil. The mold will disappear when weather conditions change: more air movement, less humidity or rain washes the mold off the granules. You can also lightly rake area.

Milorganite is composed of heat-dried microbes that have digested the organic matter in wastewater. Using large-scale processes that mimic nature, microbes digest the nutrients found in the water. The cleaned water is returned to Lake Michigan while the microbes are kiln-dried into small pellets. www.milorganite.com/what-is-milorganite
