I’m so glad you had an awesome time with your hubby!!! What a great idea about the rice mixes. I have tons (well pounds anyway) of rice and have never been one to cook rice. Thank you for doing this video Deanna. ❤
Sounds like you and Addie had a great time away! You deserve it! It’s wonderful that you have someone to help with grandma. And just so you know, I love the “all of this”. So you just keep being your chatty self!
Hey my friend I'm glad you and hubby had a great time on your 4-day getaway. You both deserve it! I'm a 54-year-old disabled man and I really enjoy watching your videos. I'm from Long Beach California. I wish all you three the best and can't wait to spend the holidays together. I'd like to learn how to make a good dressing or stuffing. Last year I made a sweet potato souffle it was a Ina Garten recipe it was delicious. You three continue to take care of each other
I love wearing pjs all day. Great video. Elder care can be hard on marriages. I have been there. Our marriage was always on the back burner. Glad you enjoyed your time away.
Getting time away when you are a caregiver is necessary for your own mental/emotional health. So happy you have found someone whom you can trust with the care of your precious grandma
Hello Deanna!! I'm SO glad you and hubby got to get away for a few days. Sounded like a lovely time. Glad Gma had fun too. Awww..... Were you able to read my email? Always fun to see you. I LOVE the idea of rice mixes in a jar. Yum!
For hubby and I, 2 cups would be way too much rice. I generally make 1 cup of raw rice so I will cut the recipes in half. These are great ideas. I could stop purchasing the boxed convenience rice sides. I add a protein to them for a meal
Thanks for sharing 😊😊😊❤

"Plow and pantry" has a video with rice recipes in jars with same ingredients. I wonder if that's who she is referring to..?
When i don't have the onion soup mix, i have used granulated beef bullion and dried onions.

Since it’s a tight fit, I think I would put the spices first and top off the jar with rice.
