Interesting you got to watch the movie to reference a lot of things that were included in this game. Felt like it was a more interesting with that perspective in mind compared to someone playing the game without. (Also, Konami was gonna show up like…twice throughout this whole challenge. Smash Table Tennis and Twinbee 3DS. But now they just show up a lot more in the beginning.)
I wonder if this American release technically existing is why they didn't change the name of The Goonies II, I know that confused a lot of people who had no idea where the Goonies 1 game was.
Movie games are strange, and these early ones really suffer from the watchable to playable conversion. Still, it’s interesting to see the solutions the developers make!
