geez grats on the pen bs, i just got my second one but it took a little over 40 taps :( my first one was 30 ish. My downside is I need to tet all the new armors now and get accessories to pen which aint ever gonna happen :(. I just want to say that this video and in particular, Blue is absolutely one of the best small-time content creators around, and 100% deserves to blow up. This video and even more so, his general ocean-content guide are hands down the best guides in BDO for their class. I would only request for him to revisit more regarding ocean content in general, but I realize the lack of popularity for this in BDO holds him back, as the demand is simply not there. Bought a duo disto and duo vaha. Took 4 cron attempts to get disto to tri. One attempt for tri vaha. 2 taps for tet disto. One tap for tet vaha. Both tets at 111 stack. Felt pretty good. Back in the day I failed a lot of tet ogres and crescents like 20 of each

for a lot of classes it's economically more profitable from going AP monkey since you can grind at like orcs on 341 DP quite easily if you don't play a malee class, with distos tho you need a bit more, 341 is like lower end, that being said, I would take 1 disto 1 vaha's dawn since you get the base vaha's from the aatoraxxion questline which gives a stupid amount of money and a ton of vaha's normally (got 7 vaha's on 1 account, 5 on the 2. one, both ended in a TET vaha's). Also, not all classes can do centaurs, if you are a witch for instance you are better off at aakman since buffs or trying kratuga if you have the AP for it
@@hatemeister in pve its fine and u feel tankier but in pvp you basically always have to combo in order to kill unless gear check ppl, its ok for 1v1s but in any sort of group setting u just wont klill targets when u catch them

You can grind mid /low zones and make billions /h without having to spams combos ,like valk can do brain dead one shot hit and dash at the same time I came back recently on bdo and i just fixed objectives to myself like a gear to get,grind pot myself,grind compass etc and i do it easily with valk while also making money for gear,i still didnt made books and quests for ap and i went from 260 ap to 280 in few days with 1 to 4 hours of grind per days,also im doing jetina quests etc
If you main Shai, and you're a new player, *under NO circumstance* should you play AP+eva Shai. It's only reserved for old players with lots of disposable cash that wanna troll players with bad gear in PvP. Start with building an APDR shai, it covers all your PvE needs, it scales you on more difficult spots faster, due to DR working all the time, not when you surpass a certain threshold, as well as letting you just ignore PvE CC with one or two resistance stones. Then, when you wanna play mass PvP, build a separate full defense set of gear, that looks pretty much nothing like your average eva gear anyway, so that's the money you'll spend regardless. In our region, I always meet shais who ask questions about spots that they normally would get enough DP for, but they still can't grind them because they were told that shai is an AP+eva class and then they get to a spot they have seemingly enough DP for, only to die in one hit, because most people have no clue how evasion works, especially in PvE. Don't make the same mistake they do, gearing up Shai when you have quadrillions of silver lying around on your auction house (which is 90% of people who give advice these days) is NOTHING like gearing her up from scratch.
Shais should always build AP sets for PvE first, but should always absolutely have a back up set of full dp for any sort of open world or uncapped pvp they might run into. Its not something you do right away, but definitely something to build. This is why we went over it at the end.
Do not do the Magnus quest line as Maegu or Woosa, or you won't be able to get Wuju's Gift. Until they add the stupid ability for those jobs, you won't be able to receive the reward.
i dunno if i missed it but you never returned to the capped dr crystal setup. you started but reset and did evasion uncapped instead. then when into dr uncapped thx again for all your hard work blue its been helping me out alot since i have returned to game
Capped DR and Evasion are the same because its capped gear. So long as you are meeting the requirements listed those are pretty much always going to be your best crystal options. Sorry that should have been clearer

For the DP-Set: for the Lightstone set untouchable is slightly better and more consistent esp on shai, since spec eva is broken, and shai needs the resistance to have hopes of movement for the offhand, its class depenend gauntlets, corsairs run milita since its their only evasion offhand and classes with dedicated eva offhand run their dedicated eva offhand, shai is fucked since she only has rosar and lastly u should have gone into the crystals since u get most of ur stats out of them: haetae tear, 2 bitterness, 2 rebells, 4 hooms, 2 jin harphia, 2 elkarrs(on gauntlet only?), 2 jin spec eva, then fill up with agillitty 8 eva
For any evasion build untouchable is always better than blurr. And its not just slightly. It is a LOT better. I Would not reccomend evasion offhands for pretty much any class unless dp meme. And Militia on corsair is also just for full dp meme. Either Sicil or Centaur with c20 kutum is definetly the way right now for a normal evasion build, even if you have the good offhand.

1:18:22 “3 extra hidden AP, no big deal.” Umm that’s 3 per earring which totals to 6 hidden AP. At the point in the game where you’re grinding cups, 6 AP is a bracket’s worth of AP. It’s actually 50% more hidden AP than the 309 bracket.

yo! ik this is a lil older, BUT in regards to eva/dr, awakening ranger doesnt have an eva passive, but i also see no reason like the DK one to build DR specifically, i would just build it DR but im a kuno main without the money to buy a second gear set. still wanting to tag ranger and suffer, but is it really gonna be that bad with awakening?
I'm a little confused on the kutum vs nouver as a DR build, do you always want to use kutum in pve and nouver in pvp? Or is there a certain point where you want to switch over to using nouver for both?
Kutum pretty much always for pve, nouver is generally used until you can hit 301AP/AAP with kutum in pvp. But there are classes that are just better with the ap from Nouver, because they are too squishy even with the extra DP provided.
Gotta tell Choice that he's doing zerker wrong. He's unkillable in evasion, but he sucks. Just because he's immortal on RBF doesn't mean he's good at the game.
It matters when you're up past 1250-1409, especially for evasion shai players. A player with 950 accuracy is only hitting ~12% of the time against 1409@@KuuYami_
@@Vexic. For a full DP meme I understand, but if you're PvPing with intention of actually doing damage, you want that extra HP pool. I know Divios only runs about 1200 on his Sage and it's enough to last a few seconds on the ground for a reset.
thats not at all how acc rate% or eva rate % work. 10% acc rate is just 10% hit rate before gear is considered, this is why some classes that have very high acc on skill/ eva debuff/ acc buff dont need to build accuracy accessories. eva rate works the same way. the effectiveness of your acc/eva stat does not scale, you are not finding 10% of your total stat and then adding that on top of the large number stat. just to be clear, 10% acc rate is just 10% hit rate before gear is considered, if you have 10% acc rate youll need to achieve a 90% hit rate from gear to hit 100% of the time

Absolutely not, keep getting that infinite potion and then you can try to go get more gear. You will need the infinite potion along the way somewhere. Better to get it now and have your name on it than wait till later and have to buy it anyway
Since you suggest not upgrading your tuvala accessories you won't have double pen ear and rings from questing, you will only have 1 pen ring and 1 pen earring if you stay in season
I grind 1-2 hours a night, been playing pretty steadily since 2017, and I'm still not over 700GS. To claim that people can "Get 725GS+" in 1 to 1 1/2 years is not a realistic expectation for 99% of the playerbase. It's the 1 dirty little secret BDO content creators keep and it's very annoying.
Everyone talks about getting 1bil an hour at Centaurs but even with level 2 loot scroll, coin and agris I am capping out at 400 mil. How are people achieving those numbers?
After getting jetina, don't most people have tet boss gear? DP would be more around 315, not 338. You kinda skipped months of getting boss gear to pen I think.
Blue would it be worth going duo Godr over TET blackstar if your buying your gear? Its a total of 3 more AP for the around same price. I could see the argument for TET BS if your enhancing it as godr enhancing is painful. But it could allow you to go for the Ogre ring pen and then be at 301k for way cheaper than buying pen BS on awakening, and then you could go tet tungrad ring + belt for 301k MH for cheaper than a pen accessory
duo godyr is fine just understand you lose money long term. You need pen black star. pen godyr is going to cost more money to enhance than simply tet to pen blackstar so if you want to sit on a duo godyr short term thats fine but understand ull need the tet bs eventually to hit for pen anyway. Also better to use hammers on. This is why they are similar price, bc eventually ppl have to sell the duo back and lose money on the tax loss.

Valk with Crit% dmg just so they know they are really dead after the first hits get them... high AP DR and HP accuracy well at the point in the game... Kind of shit but the people get deleted...

When he said 1.5 months for 3-4 hours a day to reach 629gs I gave up ._. Been playing on and off for like 10 months already (but still have a lot of playtime) and I still don't have a single tet disto. And I still use a pen dande instead of tet bs (main hand is tet bs tho) But hey I tapped a tet tungrad ring so that's good enough right 😶 Honestly.. I don't know what I should get first, tet bs awakening weapon( I play awakening Lahn for pve even tho succession is slightly better) or 1 x tet disto? Which has more priority? 274 awakening ap 344dp (and a lot of unfinished journals :') hate them)
The problem with endgame PvE is when you get to whether it is viable to optimize without going for PEN Debo items. It doesn't seem like you can afford to sacrifice any monster AP from PEN Blackstar to go Nouver at Tungrad Ruins. There are also really high hit rating requirements, so maybe you want hit neck + 2x PEN Disto, which maybe that is better to go for before considering Debo since neck is easiest to make for Debo first and that is potentially a massive grind that you might get no return on for a long time. The new artifacts will also go a long way to balance out using Disto with giving free 40 Monster DR.

This video is not necessarily per class but per "buildpath" thus meaning DR - Damage Reduction or Evasion. He has a list of classes which belong in which category starting at 20:30. Look up your class and see if its DR or Evasion and then skip to the respect part of the buildpath. Evasion: 40:54 and DR: 1:32:00

wow that time saying 1.5 month really something for vets. iam brand new player, taking 4 days to complete my main quests and the journals, is so gated. you have to life skill,cook, make stuff. and trying to save 40B to get my weapons is tough when there always players at cent. deve books not easy. pavio need 2B to start that book. lol 2 months new. it's really tough. plus I work, I try to get as much as possible in 4hrs a day after my 16hr work day
half way on Igor but I need con points to get work stations. so more questing. dorin journals expensive pri/due boss weapons,due boss armor to complete that. my enchancing suxs 😢
I would relax and just keep completing the guaranteed pens slowly but surely while doing your daily for thejetina accessory. Don't go too hard and use marni realm everywhere you can!

yo! ik this is a lil older, BUT in regards to eva/dr, awakening ranger doesnt have an eva passive, but i also see no reason like the DK one to build DR specifically, i would just build it DR but im a kuno main without the money to buy a second gear set. still wanting to tag ranger and suffer, but is it really gonna be that bad with awakening?

I'm a little confused on the kutum vs nouver as a DR build, do you always want to use kutum in pve and nouver in pvp? Or is there a certain point where you want to switch over to using nouver for both?
I believe would always be kutum for pve
Kutum pretty much always for pve, nouver is generally used until you can hit 301AP/AAP with kutum in pvp. But there are classes that are just better with the ap from Nouver, because they are too squishy even with the extra DP provided.

I feel like its important to add for evasion builds a Pen Zereth helmet at c19 gives more evasion than labreska. (Obviously at a dp loss)
I dont think players do that anymore. Pen heve gives better stats than zereth right?
Zereth actually gets better stats by +8 evasion, +1%dr, and 15% knockdown/bound resist@@emti29
The HP from Labreska is too valuable imo. When you reach 1200 evasion, anyone that can kill you would do so regardless if you were 1250 or not.
It matters when you're up past 1250-1409, especially for evasion shai players. A player with 950 accuracy is only hitting ~12% of the time against 1409@@KuuYami_
@@Vexic. For a full DP meme I understand, but if you're PvPing with intention of actually doing damage, you want that extra HP pool. I know Divios only runs about 1200 on his Sage and it's enough to last a few seconds on the ground for a reset.
thats not at all how acc rate% or eva rate % work. 10% acc rate is just 10% hit rate before gear is considered, this is why some classes that have very high acc on skill/ eva debuff/ acc buff dont need to build accuracy accessories. eva rate works the same way. the effectiveness of your acc/eva stat does not scale, you are not finding 10% of your total stat and then adding that on top of the large number stat. just to be clear, 10% acc rate is just 10% hit rate before gear is considered, if you have 10% acc rate youll need to achieve a 90% hit rate from gear to hit 100% of the time

Absolutely not, keep getting that infinite potion and then you can try to go get more gear. You will need the infinite potion along the way somewhere. Better to get it now and have your name on it than wait till later and have to buy it anyway

Since you suggest not upgrading your tuvala accessories you won't have double pen ear and rings from questing, you will only have 1 pen ring and 1 pen earring if you stay in season
No you misunderstood. I do not recommend upgrading NARU accessories. You can and SHOULD upgrade tuvala accessories

I grind 1-2 hours a night, been playing pretty steadily since 2017, and I'm still not over 700GS. To claim that people can "Get 725GS+" in 1 to 1 1/2 years is not a realistic expectation for 99% of the playerbase. It's the 1 dirty little secret BDO content creators keep and it's very annoying.
What do you think of getting a Duo Godyr and replacing the Tet Blackstar for 3 extra AP. And then trying to tap Pen BS while using the Godr

Everyone talks about getting 1bil an hour at Centaurs but even with level 2 loot scroll, coin and agris I am capping out at 400 mil. How are people achieving those numbers?
After getting jetina, don't most people have tet boss gear? DP would be more around 315, not 338. You kinda skipped months of getting boss gear to pen I think.
Blue would it be worth going duo Godr over TET blackstar if your buying your gear? Its a total of 3 more AP for the around same price. I could see the argument for TET BS if your enhancing it as godr enhancing is painful. But it could allow you to go for the Ogre ring pen and then be at 301k for way cheaper than buying pen BS on awakening, and then you could go tet tungrad ring + belt for 301k MH for cheaper than a pen accessory
duo godyr is fine just understand you lose money long term. You need pen black star. pen godyr is going to cost more money to enhance than simply tet to pen blackstar so if you want to sit on a duo godyr short term thats fine but understand ull need the tet bs eventually to hit for pen anyway. Also better to use hammers on. This is why they are similar price, bc eventually ppl have to sell the duo back and lose money on the tax loss.

When he said 1.5 months for 3-4 hours a day to reach 629gs I gave up ._. Been playing on and off for like 10 months already (but still have a lot of playtime) and I still don't have a single tet disto. And I still use a pen dande instead of tet bs (main hand is tet bs tho)

I kinda feel like duo gody is cheaper than tet disto since disto is removing dr and you could just run tet tungrads till you get your DR coming in.
But this is coming from someone whos failed 42 pen attempts lol. And got a duo godr in unless than 5 attempts.
buying duo godr is for sure the best play for new players. Only problem is that you can't use the hammers on them.
The problem with endgame PvE is when you get to whether it is viable to optimize without going for PEN Debo items. It doesn't seem like you can afford to sacrifice any monster AP from PEN Blackstar to go Nouver at Tungrad Ruins. There are also really high hit rating requirements, so maybe you want hit neck + 2x PEN Disto, which maybe that is better to go for before considering Debo since neck is easiest to make for Debo first and that is potentially a massive grind that you might get no return on for a long time. The new artifacts will also go a long way to balance out using Disto with giving free 40 Monster DR.

This video is not necessarily per class but per "buildpath" thus meaning DR - Damage Reduction or Evasion. He has a list of classes which belong in which category starting at 20:30. Look up your class and see if its DR or Evasion and then skip to the respect part of the buildpath. Evasion: 40:54 and DR: 1:32:00

Make sure you the crescent ring you are putting in is actually your Jetina and not just a random pri crescent you have laying around.
ngl? sage as an class is quite far fetched (except we consider pve s), but for pvp 90% is SA and very short s in the middle of the ability that feel inexisting cause of desync. Most other classes have more consistent and better s

wow that time saying 1.5 month really something for vets. iam brand new player, taking 4 days to complete my main quests and the journals, is so gated. you have to life skill,cook, make stuff. and trying to save 40B to get my weapons is tough when there always players at cent. deve books not easy. pavio need 2B to start that book. lol 2 months new. it's really tough. plus I work, I try to get as much as possible in 4hrs a day after my 16hr work day
half way on Igor but I need con points to get work stations. so more questing. dorin journals expensive pri/due boss weapons,due boss armor to complete that. my enchancing suxs 😢
Don't rush you'll just end up burning out. Bdo is a marathon.
I would relax and just keep completing the guaranteed pens slowly but surely while doing your daily for thejetina accessory. Don't go too hard and use marni realm everywhere you can!
