Thanks for this class sir. Please I am having issues with my date column. Grouping the weekday by total riders (passengers) is giving me the same total value of 6587 which is the value of total riders. Kindly assist please 🙏
Real great project and I only hope you took time to get the DAX aspect a bit streamlined. There are too many bumps that were not explained well. But over, nice job!
Kindly check the downhour DAX. If you convert it to table it shows 4 different records, however, the MAXX function picks only one record ( the max time out of the four records). My humble question is why should we choose the MAX? Thank you
The time returned has the highest numbers of Riders (passengers). It doesn't matter if it returns 100 in a table, what we need is the busiest time of operations.
@@datalab365 Alright. But I think the number of records matters becuase If MINX is use also you get a different answer for DownHour of operation. Anyway thanks for getting back
Completed the previous healthcare project with you. It's awesome! Now another masterpiece!!!🥰 The way you deliver information is truly awesome. Great teaching skills, buddy! TBH, industry-level projects.
Why are you using MOD function when calculating the time bucket please? Do you any reason? I am asking this because I always try to understand your DAX and how they work. I experimented without the MOD and it works fine. Anyways I always wish i can like your vids 1000 times. Continue this awesome works bro
I have a question. 30:29 approximately here. At the end of the measure, we return with MAXX. How does MAXX know that we want to return by the number of riders and not by the number of strings in route name. Because MAXX also can return the max string.
Bro once again thanks very much for the videos. Please why does the number of buses under the Bus Utilisation is 82 and not 40 since distinct count was use?
I have a question regarding DAX. In the DAX book I've read, it mainly explains the functions and their forms, as well as the DAX engine. However, when I watch tutorials on RUclips, I notice they use complex DAX with multiple VAR statements, max, min, etc. How can I learn to write complex DAX? I'm having difficulty understanding how to connect multiple DAX formulas.
Hello, Overall I would say this is a great video I did notice one mistake I found with it which is the Peak and Down hour of Operation section is misleading. This is because it is actually showing the peak minute and down minute statistics rather than hour. To fix this I created a new column similar to the time group column in the video. This was done by grouping each individual hour, and creating new measures by copying and pasting peak hour, V Peak Hour, Down Hour, and V Down Hour and replacing FactTable_ridership[Time], with the new coulmn FactTable_ridership[Timehour], throughout the four measures
Watching from Nasarawa State. I am currently taking your 2 courses on UDEMY and it's great. Can you please produce something on financial reporting and Analysis Dashboard in Power BI? Thank you.
Most RUclips channels focus on small simple mostly dummy projects that suit beginners and I am not against them, they're doing good BUT you take complex industry-level projects and make them accessible to beginners. It's truly awesome! God Bless You.
This channel should be highlighted for providing high quality content in free. Please keep sharing your knowledge brother. Hope you make one on financial and banking domain advanced level one🎉
These projects are pretty advanced and awesome but the good thing is that the way you explain things in a nice slow manner makes it easy for beginners to to follow along. ❤
nice video. so can be said that the distinct difference of the FACTS TABLE is that it has more columns and rows than the others? this is because i noticed that it does not only have repeated columns, but it is the table with the highest number of rows.
A FACT table is unique mainly because it stores quantitative metrics for analysis and contains foreign keys linking to dimension tables, not because of the sheer number of columns and rows. It typically has a large volume of rows due to detailed transaction-level data but might not have as many columns, focusing instead on quantitative data and references to descriptive dimensions. The distinctiveness comes from its role in supporting multidimensional analysis in a data warehouse.
Thank you So much, man. I like your way of teaching as in Every video you try to bring out new methods that are very explorative to others and give us Absolute Knowledge in how to be a pro in Power BI

Hi Sir , I am facing Error in Line chart when Time is added , its showing 24Hours format , I tried some DAX queries , But Still Unable to resolve.

Learn the and little DAX first with time the use of VAR will become simple.
