I tried to open with adjustable tool and I couldn't take off. Now I'm looking for a spanner. Hardest thing I've done pretty much so confusing lol

There is nothing at all wrong in using an adjustable spanner, as long as it is used correctly.
When it is properly adjusted it fits the nut exactly, closer than a fixed spanner can.
