Got my daughter an 1+ phone. Forget the model. But, she loves it. And when I set it up. I played with it. Was shocked with how great of an phone it was. Looking into a couple different models to upgrade hers.
400$ for a oneplus 12r thats insane . for the same price here in belgium we couldnt even buy the standart 128gb oneplus nord 3 (463$) . Thats not only the case with oneplus phones but with all brands . Man i hate this 😒 we do allways have to pay more like sometimes double the price

I had a OnePlus for like a year that served me super well. I've moved on to the Google Pixel 7A, and I want to stick with Google Pixel at this point, but one plus definitely gives you bang for your buck
Not a Oneplus 12R but I recently bought a red magic 9 Pro on facebook marketplace for $300. I’ve been an isheep at heart since 2019. The last android phone I had before I switched to Apple was the Oneplus 7 Pro in 2019. I bought the red magic phone because 1. The price was too damn good and 2. I’ve had an “itch” for a while to buy an android phone and see how far android phones have improved since I had one. The red magic with the snapdragon gen 3 is mind blowing. I’ve done some speed test with my 15 pro max in both app opening and benchmarks and it blows my iPhone away. I was shocked and kinda pissed off at the same time. Why is a phone I only paid $300USD beating the$1400 iPhone I bought just a couple of months ago? Kinda ruined my day, honestly.💀

Yeah. In USA, it's 500$, which in Europe with convertion and taxes should be around 500-520€, but official price for shops? 700€. Like what. Flagship killer for a price of a year old flagship. What do they want to kill? Themselves? :D

It's nice, but no wireless charging is a deal breaker for me. :/ My Razer Phone 2 is still kicking after 4 years, more inclined towards the Moto Edge if I need to replace it.

This phone would be perfect if the display was flat. HATE curved screens.
'GOOD' OnePlus ended after 7Tpro with awesome NO HOLE IN YOUR SCREEN feature :\ that has been forgotten for obscure reason of 'the sliding camera gets dust in it and gets jammed' - I had it for almost 5 years - awesome phone and never I had an issue of my camera not sliding in or out of my phone. Also LOVED the fact that I didn't have a freaking HOLE in the screen :\
P.S. misinformation there - you DON'T get to give them ANY phone to get a discount towards the new phone...they accept ONLY certain phone models and ONLY certain conditions + you get less if the quality of your device is not excellent...
So in other words a basic trade in system like any other company? You're right about the camera pop up system it was great. The reason pop up cams disappeared, they offered consumers too much privacy from the NSA and CIA. Hole punch cameras allow easy access to the phones camera without a physical pop up camera alerting the user their camera is being accessed by shady websites or government agencies in the middle of the night.
@@jevonsims900 I don't mind State agencies spying on me (I'm such an 'interesting' person, lol), I don't want some shady apps taking pictures of me and my personal life. That's why I loved the front camera. There are SO MANY apps that literally DEMAND your full privacy given away (full camera access, GPS always on and precise location, device control, screen control, contacts), sometimes those apps don't even NEED these, yet google lets them steal your privacy, because you need to use your calendar or something else - they tell you you NEED to let them get that info :\

I hate the new oxygen os. Fudge the new oxygen os. The old oxygen os running android 11 is still so smooth for me. And i am not some basic lad sharing memes on insta, i do have a lot of apps and lot of video shooting, basic editing, gaming.
The price is $500 and the storage speed is actually UFS 3.1 on all models.
Oneplus is falsely advertising the 256 GB model as UFS 4.0 when in fact it is the same 3.1 as the base model. They lied previously with the 11R, claiming 3.1 when it was actually UFS 2.2.
I cannot recommend supporting a brand that stoops this low to get sales.
How can you tell that the storage is USF 3.1?
