Nice setup video 👍😊 i seem to like 8inch or 8.25 with 14inch WB though i have an oldish Madness 9" shaped board setup on big krux trucks. Ive got thunder lights and really enjoy skating them 👍 im also considering trying Slappy trucks having heard lots of good things about them 😎💯🔥

tbh after skating this board I went back to a 8.25 polar with a 14.125 wheel base and loved it. Just set up another 8.38 and I live the width but it feels a lot like this jacuzzi with steep kicks and not many fingers of flat. I will probably just stick with polar boards in future as they always seem to have a decent price and a shape I really like

Perforated grip tape may have been invented for a reason as you say, but I hate it. I live in an area that has the most humid summers and relatively cold winters, and any perforated grip starts to peel off after a week or two. Perforations in griptape cause the glue to dry out faster in the griptape, which in theory, causes the griptape to start to peel easier and doesn't stick as well, at least where I live. It's straight black Jessup for me all the way, it's grippy enough that my flip tricks work the way they are supposed to and more importantly, it sticks onto my deck for the whole 3-5 weeks a deck usually last me untill it snaps or it gets enough razor tail to affect my skating. I don't get air bubbles either, that may just be because I've been gripping boards for 16+ years but I don't know. My point is there is a downside to perforations and I'm glad some grip companies don't use them. Otherwise I enjoyed the video :)

That’s really interesting. That sounds like it makes sense in certain climates but not something I’ve experienced here in England.

Yeah, it's probably not applicable to most people in the world, I use to skate Mob grip almost exclusively as a kid, I loved the super aggressive grits they have but the peeling started to make me crazy. Keep up the good work brother, I've been enjoying your videos. I'm going to subscribe.

Nice board! Idk why but when your skating the hip it looks like the tail is the nose. How do you like the board?

    • @averageskater900

I was using the tail as the tail but the steepness of the nose and tail seem to be the same on this board. The nose is longer though.
I’m noticing the steepness can make 360 flips feel a bit Hefty but it’s just about adjusting my technique a bit.

@@averageskater900 ok, it is very hard to tell, it almost looked like the tail is steeper but shorter than the nose. That shape looks like something i would like tbh. Keep up the videos!
