I had to get an emergency c-section (horizontal along the bikini line). My baby girl's heart rate was up and down due to the contractions because she was so stressed. She even pooped before she was out so they had to pump her stomach and got 7ml out of meconium and she was having low O2 stats... it was definitely scary, but I was so focused on her being healthy and not what I was going through. For me recovery wasn't to bad.🤷🏼♀️❤
I read the title so wrong. It says, "Husband reacts to a live C-section birth" But I read, "Husband reacts to MY C-section birth" im like WHATTTT NO WAYY OMG😟😟😟
You guys are going to be awesome parents!! At least you are getting prepared. I had to have 2 c-sections. Because our first baby was breach. The epidural did not work on me for our first daughter, so I was completely knocked out and didn't get to see her until a couple of hours later. Our regular GP was in there for the baby to take care of, and he snuck my husband into the delivery room to see everything because he thought Jason should see the birth of our first kid and we were only 21. He took pictures of my stomach all ripped apart while they were trying to get her out of me. My eyes were taped shut, too. He said that it freaked him out big time. Our second daughter wasn't breach, but she was a bigger baby, so the doctor said c-section for sure. That time, things worked out perfectly. Epidural worked. I saw her right away. Because the first one had turned into an emergency, they cut me from my belly button down, and my stomach looked like a big butt for a while after she was born. It was pretty funny.
I can't wait to watch you guys as a little family!! Its going to be so cute!!

I had a c-section with both my girls, I was numbed from the waist down, when they cut all I felt was pressure/pushing, no sharp pain...it really only hurt durring the healing process.

I had to have it done twice and the second one was emergent... not as bad as it looks... hurts after but it was fine

If the stitches are anything like they used to stitch in my knee it’s like a cotton stitch that dissolves after a few weeks.

There's still time for the baby to turn head down, but if not, Dr's can also turn the baby in hopes that u don't need a c-section.

Internal stitches you don’t feel, just the outside ones itch, or atleast that’s from my experience.

Umm, if they are ripping the stomach open instead of cutting, that is crazy! May cause an uneven/Jack up scar for sure. How awful!
