The lyrics actually say "You can have free weed, hoes, and the best D.J. but it ain't no party if you don't gotta keg. We give you what you want...of course we love the blunts but your party ain't shit if you aint getting drunk". This is Paper Chaser formerly known as Destro of the Fedaralz and I wrote / performed that song when I was 18 years old years ago. Lol! Good times and s/o to Peter Smolik 🙌🏽

Smolik was so rad. Loved his style. He went super tech but could also melon grab the shit outa gaps etc. I used to have a skate video by Danny Minnick with a clip of Smolik big spin heel flipping out of a nosegrind on a picnic table - probably in 98 or something - a trick that'd hold major weight in 2020

@@creamcheese7845 there's a reissue, if you're interested... not the same, obviously, but still. I grew up in Goleta (that's where the warehouse was), and every year they had a clearance sale. You could buy misprint decks and last season clothing for super cheap. Powell had one also. You had to wait on line for hours, but it was well worth it.

I remember this being the first part I ever saw by anybody where I got through watching the whole thing and I still wasn't fully sure what stance the dude was. It's easier to distinguish watching it in 2020, but in the late 90's it was almost unheard of for anyone to be this adept skating switch/nollie. People just didn't do tricks like that in the day. Absolutely incredible part!

its super weird, I live down the street from San Marcos high school (where that outledge is that smolik skates a bunch and the rail that koston tre noseblunted for his ender in yeah right) and all that stuff is gone but man the amount of history that went down at that spot is insane and i think about it everytime i drive by it. I trip out that Shorty's and Powell are based in Santa Barbara. I wasn't around for any of their hey day because I moved here as an adult. Definitely have gone on a few tourist missions to find old Frankie Hill spots.

I just left a comment talking about that spot. I’m from Lompoc and always wanted to skate San Marcos. We finally got someone to give us a ride and it was the exact day they knobbed it. Shit was so fucking sad lol. Lompoc doesn’t have any good spots. I don’t even think there’s a single skateable handrail or decent ledge.

You gotta love the back t big spin to fakie where he gives himself air dome on the arm steez 😂😂 that part was on heavy rotation on my VCR.
Another steez moment is that lil foot hop after he lands the kf back t kf. It was a slight stance readjustment yet it adds so much. I used to do mini hops after I seen that on ledge tricks for any trick to fakie from back side 180 out

This video single handedly got me into hip-hop music and as I said, the video was absolutely mind blowing. My favorite part is still Steve Olson with the 1st part. The 1st video I ever saw was by Basic skateboards. Their product logo was a play on Marlboro cigarettes and stuff came in a box the same size as a carton of cigarettes. Saw the video in 1997, the year I got my 1st official complete, Devilman logo World 🌎 😈 🔥 board, Indy trucks, Bones Swiss bearings, and Landspeed Bam Margera 53mm wheels
