At first I was lowkey disappointed that the video clip was just a short one on loop, but then it dawned on me: it's meant to be like that, isn't it? In the sense that it's a meta take on the lyrics? Even if it isn't, this will be my new headcannon: the video keeps looping because the song's protagonist indeed keeps fooling everyone and this is his farewell/getaway song for every single one of those he tricks.
