Because Rahman became a bit of a journeyman having trouble with lower tier fighters. While Lewis put in some more top level opponents, meaning there was nothing to prove there
“They realised there was nothing in it and moved on as equals”! Do you watch boxing?..or understand it? Just because they both won a fight each, doesn’t mean they were “even stevens”! Lennox had himself to blame in the first fight for not training properly and not accumulating himself to fight at altitude. Hats off to Rahman for taking the fight to Lennox and KO’ing him. But the 2nd fight proved the absolute difference in boxing class between them both! Lennox was clearly the better boxer and puncher! No debate about that!

Hyped fighters suffer their first defeat and are never the same - Tyson, Jermaine Taylor. Rhonda Rousey (different sport, I know, but fighting) comes to mind - but fighters like Sugar Ray Leonard and Lennox suffer defeat and want to get back in there with their conquerer and beat them and they do badly. Now some of you may berate me for throwing Tyson's name in there, let me explain. Some say Tyson was never the same after his loss to Douglas. I say he was never the same after the James "Quick" Tillis fight. Look it up here in RUclips. Tillis lost a decision to Tyson, but that fight exposed Mike the fact that if a superior boxer like Lennon or Holyfield would fight Tyson he would lose badly. Well, Buster Douglas was the superior boxer who beat him first. Every time he was in with someone who knew how to box and was not afraid of him, he was embarrassed and worked out on. Rhonda Rousey fought creampuffs her career. Jermain Taylor beat Bernard Hopkins, but when he suffered his first loss he was done. Not Lewis, not Leonard, not Ali. They lose and they come back stronger and better.
So basically at the end of the day It's 1-1, no rubber match to determine who's better out of the 2, I never understood when 2 fighters would get a win over each other that in quite a few cases a 3rd and final match was never held as It's usually the defending champions right to have a rematch but seems Rahman never got one,...same deal as Rocky III with Clubber and Rocky winning 1 each ;-)

Ok we dont want that 😂😂😂
Why was there never a 3rd fight?
Because Rahman became a bit of a journeyman having trouble with lower tier fighters. While Lewis put in some more top level opponents, meaning there was nothing to prove there
lmao at the use of the word "gay", so childish
Yea absolutely pathetic
Why are you being so ageist against young people. Sad.
Wrong on lennox Lewis part,he shouldn't have involved his family members
Thought there may have been a third fight with it 1-1. A big pay day for everyone.
great master of thee art of boxing and a gentlemen
Lewis did what he had to he lost first fight not only was he getting revenge for his lost but got revenge for talking about his manhood.
Who's here after watching the Joe Rogan interview with Lennox Lewis and Russell Peters?
Lennox got his jaw ripped off in the 1st fight..... Lol
Should have been a third fight
I’m not sure if Rahman even has a sister. If he does..she felt that KO punch from Lewis! In fact Rahman’s whole family and ancestors did!!
And your mother did felt it
@@ridvannuredinigaming and your dad felt you..quite regularly I assume!
Lewis fury would be amazing, and before anyone says I know that would be impossible🙄 lol
Lewis a very good man
So these 2 are pretty even stevens then. 1-1. They obviously realised there was nothing in it and moved on to other opponents as equals.
@@its_rick_james_bich2575 1-1 = draw. why no third fight? Lewis scared?
@@leesmith9299 Your clearly an idiot. Rahman could have exercised a rematch clause if he wanted (given Don King was promoting him, it would have happened if Rahman wanted another shot at Lewis)! And if Lewis refused the rematch it would have been all over the media back then!
You’d be better suited to commenting on the WBNA lol!
@@its_rick_james_bich2575 lewis bottled it
@@leesmith9299 it was Rahman who did everything he could to avoid the rematch with Lewis after the first fight. Lewis had to take him to court to enforce the clause. Lewis v. Rahman, 147 F. Supp. 2d 225 (S.D.N.Y. 2001)
You obviously enjoy making stuff up.
Hope anthony has watched this clip
What a lovely sight seeing Lewis the big head laying on the canvas
Rahman should have stayed disciplined, and focused,he would have stayed champion a little bit longer.....
We all know that Lennox Lewis is a Ladies Man. Heterosexual!
The should be a third Fight, just to be fair.
Lewis fell like Goliath
Lewis vs a roy Jones style
Lewis would beat him badly.
Кто нибудь может перевести на русский их разговор в студии?
Men's have wrestling in their 🧬
Rahman’s arms are massive Ffs
So basically at the end of the day It's 1-1, no rubber match to determine who's better out of the 2, I never understood when 2 fighters would get a win over each other that in quite a few cases a 3rd and final match was never held as It's usually the defending champions right to have a rematch but seems Rahman never got one,...same deal as Rocky III with Clubber and Rocky winning 1 each ;-)
In their first match up Lennox didn't train properly for the altitude of the location and was struggling with the fatigue of that and was a bit of a sitting duck for Rachman
@@neilrogers6767 No excuses
In first match reff count Lewis out in 5 seconds
He knew Lewis wasn't fit enough to carry on, got payback though 👍
@@Beans_everywhere Very True
Shouldn't have counted anyways once the back of the head pounds on the canvass
Get little saga 🎉🎉🎉
Brawl? Lol , It's more a tussle.
