Interesting series, but Episodes are not in order. Is this done on purpose or is there a genuine mix-up? Not as good as Sulleiman and Hurrem s Reign, Episodes but interesting nonetheless.
Under Sulleimans reign, the only time the Janissaries revolted was when he executed Prince Mustafa. With Kosem they seem to be rioting all the time because of the interferances of some of the Pasha's nit obeying and being loyal to the Sultans and also the interferances with the Sultanas and their Princes.
They are not historically accurate so it is hard to tell but Mustafa was deposed a second time after 3 years on the throne he would go back to his room /prison until his death at less of 40 years old
The priest was praying in Latin. I can understand Latin. I was risen in catholic school since kinder Jardin and I learned from the nuns how to understand it.
The new kosem us too harsh. The second kosem is the perfect one... I dont know why they changed her. If it need it to be older, the make up artis can made her look older though...

They changed the actresses to show the ageing of the character. Simple when you think about it. The actor who played the original Murat was also changed for the same reason.
This new Kosem looks evil. The history doesn't say she is and the actress is totally not what the info is saying. It is fine to change actress but it seems that when they change, there was a disconnect. 2nd kosem is better. She is like the kosem being described in the history.
Murad was awful with his own mother like Osman . Bost of them betrayed the mother Sultana Kosem. I can not believe it, after kosem was working together with them ,so her children get in the throne . Mal agradecidos!
Do you remember when sultan Ahmed died?? Kosem wrote a decree in his name and entroned crazy Mustafa. She betrayed both Ahmed AND osman by doing that!!!! She gave all the power to halime!!! And halftime threw them all in a prisoner room and separated kosem from her kids. So kosem did a big mistake first!! She was the reason why osman got angry with her! She secretly met with his council and made dumb decisions. She is still doing it now with sultan murat!!! Its one thing to be next to your son and support him but another thing to go behind his back and try to share his power. It's like she doewnt want to let go of the power.
Both osman and murat was overshadowed by kosem. They are sultans its humiliating that their mommy meddled in state affairs bc it makes her sons look weak! This weakness is what the traitor always took advantage of!!!
Just like how sultan suleiman never let a woman no matter if it's his mom or even hurrem interfere in state matters and politics murat is that way too.
