Here's a fast explanation about the mirrored buildings. Basically, dynamic reflections weren't a thing long time ago so, in order to simulate reflections on water, they just mirrored the whole buildings underground so that you can see them through the water. Hotels are commonly mirrored underground because they have pools.
9:05 since hardware was not powerful enough to do realtime reflections, instead what devs did was duplicate the things are getting reflected towards the angle of which the reflection is facing. for this case scenario is the pool next to the building, this was also used in GTA 3 for the FBI offices building.

The reason why the hotel in VC is mirrored underground is because it's a reflection that is seen in a pool. GTA 3 used the trick as well

I think the building in Vice City is duplicated for the reflection effect. Same thing was done in NFS Carbon. It's easier to duplicate the texture of the building rather than rendering a real time reflection, and it doesn't consume so much resources. True story ;) :)

That GTA3 easter egg "you weren't supposed to be able to get here you know" I actually found that one completely on my own recently before learning about it online by flying a dodo from the airport and landing in that area.

you should cover Liberty City in GTA San Andreas, it's really cool!
just download the GTA Underground mod for GTA SA on PC. In that mod the devs of the mod are trying to make a whole USA map in one game and have converted Vice City and Liberty City in to the same game as well as add other maps from other Rockstar games and even added their own custom maps

The building in Vice City goes under the map because it's a tecnique to make it look like the water is refleting it but it's an actual building just turned upside down.
The chicken shooting in the boat that gives me a nostalgia 😂
Well, we do use Bahama Mama's in a mission, but those other interiors in GTAV like Jack Howitzers motel room and Split Sides I'm guessing is only there for use in the TV shows. I'm sure there's a Liberty City set somewhere as well considering "Meltdown" was filmed there.

It's the trick effect that they used to create a reflection of the Hotel building. If you were to look down into the pool from the right side of the map, you would see it. Pretty clever on their part I'll say! "8:51"

In GTA V like in GTA III, there is also the possibility to get to North Yankton (the snowy place where Franklin plays his first mission and Michael plays an intermediate mission in the cemetery), through a PC mod you can get there by plane at every moment ;-D

Idk if it's still working but there was also a ghost town glitch in GTA 5 where there was almost nobody in the city. But you can still. Get a wanted level which sucks

That's a good topic to discuss with GTA because I myself one day before having the Xbox one still had a 360 and played GTA 5 a lot I wanted to see how far we can go and what happens when you go to the out of bounds areas . In my head I thought we go to other islands that no one has known about but what really happens is this . .. If taking an air plane which is the faster way you fly until it ensures your engine dies out and you fall to the ocean leaving you for dead basically all the way at the out of bounds mark .
Now with a boat sure it won't just run out of gas right it's a boat in GTA no way it'll die on us . Sure enough you get to the out of bounds mark your boat just dies out and you float into the ocean and there's always sharks and deep waters I never actually wanted to see what's down at the bottom of the ocean cause I don't have it on pc and the cheats onk y have 5 minutes invincibility it'll take longer than that too even get to the bottom of that spot in the water but that's what happens when trying to go to the furthers spot in GTA 5s map
