And here I am, in over-engineered Germany... But living in a north western smaller village ... Getting just ridiculous 10Mbps... I feel like living in a fifth world country.
I from Russia, 10 Mbps too.
I live in Serbia in village, 8Mbps max 10Mbps.

@@MaxScooterfan I know, I just say what is my internet speed in my house.
Here UK 1000 Mbps up/down
Fun fact: Despite having high speed internet, virtually nobody streams music in Japan. Most people keep buying CDs. Also, many Japanese people play SACDs, a high resolution type of CD which has 64 times the sample rate of an ordinary CD.
yes, and one sixteenth bit depth. In the end, 192khz/24 bit flacs offer the same quality if not better and can be easily enjoyed from a service like tidal no dac and tinkering around required. And that's without mentioning compatibility in the conversation
@@mihnea919 true, but given the sheer size of the music collection many of us have it makes no sense to pay for a streaming service for music we already have anyway. Also, every single CD I have bought since 1986 and SACD I have works perfectly well, I feel they will outlive me. However, who can guarantee that those streaming services will be around in 10 years' time? Nobody! I'd much rather own my music.
That's such an old stereotype lmao... yes people still keep buying CDs for the artist they support but people have been using music streaming apps for a couple of years now... the famous ones being Apple Music, Amazon Prime and Spotify.... get your facts straight... nowadays mainly Showa and some Heisei people are adamant on using CDs when listening to music.... and I know this because I was an exchange student there back in 2019...
@@johnz4860 tho listening to music virtually is convenient, I do agree that I'd rather have my own physical copy than keep subscribing to those music platforms... but well I'm not really at home most of the time and its really a hassle to always carry a CD player...
Norway here. Been having 1000/1000 fiber optic for several years now. And stability has been near perfect. Only once have I experienced a hiccup in the service. And that was during routine maintenance at my ISP.
Absolutely no complaints from me 😌
As Thailand people I agreed with my country's Internet is Extremely fast but get slower when got hit by heavy tropical storm
That's why you should put the cables under ground. Don't understand why not more countries do this. In the Netherlands literally every single cable is under ground.
As a chilean 🇨🇱 I can confirm. Currently I have 800 Mbps.
Somoh el mejor pais de chile hmnooo

Que genial, yo aqui tengo solo 600mbps... que ganas de vivir en Chile. Saludos desde Cali, Quinta Normal.
Chile rules 💪😎
Thailand 1200Mbps
Never thought Chile was THAT fast
Yep, and I'm glad we improved our internet speed because gaming was a pain in the ass back then. Now we have servers in Santiago for some games
Internet speed is one thing I haven't worried about in quite some years... I mean, I now have 500mbps on copper to the ISP servers, but that's just because we're now 3 people, sometimes 4 people at home using the Internet, because I was perfectly fine with 100mbps when it was just me making heavy use of the Internet.
Informative video.🎉
Thanks for watching 🧡
It’s amazing how some countries have very fast Internet
Namely! In reality not. In Italy very few people could attain an impeccable, flawless max speed connection even with fiber optic. I'd say even most 4G services are better.
5 g here in china is very fast
I'm from Bangladesh and our internet speed is 0.00000001 Mbps but here our government always say that Bangladesh is a smart country 😂. Just imagine if Bangladesh has 100 Mbps+ internet speed then what they said? Bangladesh is more developed than Aliens?😂😂😂😂
India Will Become More Smarter Than Bangladesh BY 2030 OK!

i don't have any idea as to where you sourced your information on the philippine's internet service but we really are just in the vicinity of around 30-40 mbps here for tier2 internet service plans and sometimes, it goes much, much lower even.
This is legit that Philippine internet really improved compared to 5 years ago. 👌💙
Iloilo 192 dl and 28 ul with Smart 4G 😅 I think it really did improve way lot better than 5 years ago

In Russia, I pay an Internet tariff of 300 Mbps and it costs 700 rubles ($7). strange rating
I am in France, phone 5g gives 526mbps download, 24mbps upload. My optic fiber connexion is 156 mbps download, 64 mbps upload. Almost good.
According brazilian telecommunications agency Anatel, the average internet speed up to last quarter of 2022 was around 245 Mbps. Personally i have 1 Gbps fiber at home.
No doubt Malaysia has that kind of internet speed. 😄

The normal speed that I download Apps is 80-110MB/s(Not Mbps) and for its ads the carrier says themself right now has a combo with 1000Mbps only takes about 180 USD per year(1280 RMB). That's insane😂
i think most people here dont understand what average means.
all the speeds here are for the whole country.
its not the max speed.
im living in netherlands and i have 1Gb (which means gigabit not byte) 1Gb is 1000Mb(megabit not byte). Small b means bit, capital B means byte. 2 different things.
the videos is about Megabit. it states the average of our speed is 209.11 Megabit. but still i have 1000 megabit. but not everyone has this speed. so thats why it called an average... not max speed
Ugh our internet speed sucks 😢 Australia 🇦🇺
How do you calculate these values? My mobile connection is 500 MB/s. 60% of Bulgarians have 5G on one or more devices. Many people, including me, have a home internet of 500 MB/s and more. There is no way the UK is ahead of Bulgaria, knowing how my friends complain about the speed there and how it disconnects when we talk online.
The title is misleading because it shows a weighted average, not the fastest internet speed available. Here in Hungary, 2000/1000 is widely available even in small villages (small country, easy to install fibre everywhere), but many people don't need that bandwidth, so they "dwarf" the average.
You have 500Mbps not MBps. Also this is broadband not mobile

I use 200Mbps monthly unlimited download plan on fibre broadband connection n living in a metropolitan city and have gotten full speed for the past 4 years with no issues. But Not really Surprised my country India's, avg is just 77 as the majority of India's population uses only 20 to 50 Mbps speeds for home and Mobile is max 10 to 15 Mbps only which is the majority of India's internet users. Getting 100Mbps or higher is a big monthly expense for an avg household budget, and movies still play well at 50Mbps.

Chile came out of nowhere. Didn't know they had such high average
Yes, I am
curious why their internet speed is so fast!
That is so, because Chile has 7 submarine cables that connect Chile directly with the USA for example (Valparaiso.Los Angeles)
Pan American (PanAm), Arica
South America-1 (SAm-1), Arica and Valparaíso
South American Crossing (SAC)/Latin American Nautilus (LAN), Valparaiso

Telxius Mistral Cable, Arica, Valparaíso57
and a Chile-China interoceanic cable is projected

Change your Internet service provider. Buy a good router if you use wifi. It's also wise to upgrade your hardwares. It's useless to have a good internet speed with a slow system. I live in Canada and I visited my family Phu Nhuan district, Saigon three years ago the internet speed is very good.

3:03 really? Indonesia average internet speed is 43.35 Mbps?
I think, Indonesia's internet is very slow at ASEAN
in Russia, the average speed is higher than in the USA or in England - everyone there complains not only about prices but also about speed - we often have wired Internet. How these figures were calculated remains a mystery. they probably calculate the formal speed from advertising booklets. if you have optical fiber, then 100 MB/s is already enough for everything. it is necessary to calculate how many people use optics, how many wired lines, how many wireless ones. wired networks are usually stable - the speed is according to the contract, and cellular networks can show the agreed speed once a year
