These are the guys that make films great, not the big name stars. The supporting and bit part actors that crop up in every film wached in every home that go unnoticed. A real top character actor. RIP Geoffrey Lewis.
That was a nice tribute. Loved his character in the Every which way but loose movies. Whenever trouble was about to start he got that "Oh Shit" look and would turn his hat backwards...awesome job! RIP...

Was watching The Great Waldo Pepper when he came on the screen and I had to pause to google him. He was a great actor who was in some great movies and some crappy ones but he always put in a great performance. Took me way back to my childhood in the seventies.

He was also in "Lust in the Dust" which is a very funny movie. Paul Bartel wrote, produced and directed it. Besides Geoffrey Lewis it also started Divine, Tab Hunter, Cesar Romero, Lanie Kazan, and Nedra Voles. Well worth watching!
The year of Geoffrey's marriage to Paula is incorrect. Geoffrey had 3 additional children left off the list: Emily Colombier, Miles Lewis, and Hannah Lewis.
