I am honestly very impressed with the vocals.. for like literally the past 5 years, they have been crap.. minus a few moments with the home studio recordings of some of these songs over the pandemic.. so happy for good vocals finally! They don't sound terrible at all!

I actually expected more lipped parts considering her last shows, but it wasn't much bad (compared to 2010's shows, that we are already used to). And she sounds much better compared to last shows this year and the last one. Also I think her mixing of prerecorded vocals is better now (a bit less obvious).

That was awesome, idk why people says it was mostly lipped 😂 she is singing really comfortable, in a very measured volume, that's how she has to do it always because of the level of her songs, did you ever see an opera singer moving? No, because otherwise you don't get all that tones specially with nodules, no other American pop singer sings in that level using every register, she did awesome 👏👏👏👏 and she is taking care of her voice.

Last year she had the world of energy but sadly was sick and vocals were really struggling. This year the vocals actually sounds so good but sadly she's going through something which is why she looks "tired" I guess and low energy. Still love her. What I don't get is this time her voice is sounding so good and smooth but so many extra prerecordeds😩🙈 even the entire joy to the world is a prerecorded. And damn emotions sounded so freaking good and make it happen verse. I'm so proud.

This comment is for the real lambs who actually care about Mimi. Mariah is not happy and the show was a train wreck. 5 years ago, 80% of her shows were live, now 80% of her shows are lipped. No more “corset”, “nerves”, “she’s been in the studio”. This is partly due to nodules but more so because she is not maintaining her instrument. She admits to not doing a proper warmup anymore, she just checks her whistle and goes out to sing. If you can’t tell this is lipped that’s on you. You guys think she’s belting songs with the microphone an inch from her mouth? No. The few times she did sing live she holds the microphone way further from her mouth, end of discussion. We lost We Belong Together, Joy to the World Intro, Always Be My Baby, Christmas Time is in the Air, Oh Santa, and the entirety of AIWFCIY. Some people paid $1500 for a show that lasted 75 minutes with breaks included. That’s ridiculous. Things I am happy about: the stage is better and Mariah does sound more fluid in the few parts she sang live. The negatives: The production value of this show is horrible. Who is putting her in these outfits she can’t move in? The dancers need to go. She has Debby Allen who is in her 70’s putting together these routines that are tacky and the production value, while slightly better, still needs to be improved. There were two very big stadium shows this year that had insane production value at similar price points, and while this isn’t a stadium show the price needs to reflect the quality. This felt uninspired and unrehearsed and anyone that says otherwise is in denial. An amateur high school talent show at best. The “she has nothing left to prove” lambs are wrong. Mariah is a legacy act who has everything to prove, if not to the general public at the very least to her fans that she says she adores. Show us you care about us by showing how much you still care for your craft. Mariah hasn’t had a single memorable performance in the last decade except 2, and one of them was at the 2014 tree lighting and the other was on NYE 2016. Not really the performances you want to stick out in your career. She needs a new team and new inspiration. The two Christmas specials were lazy, Big Energy Remix was the most disappointing feature she has ever done, Global Citizen and Lovers & Friends were a mess. Even the “It’s Time” video this year was so haphazardly produced. People have literally written full treatments for a defrosting “It’s Time” video and Mariah and her team finally do it and put together the most bare minimum production? It’s time for a rebrand or for her to just take a break and find her happy space because music and performing isn’t it right now.

I always thought her vocal issue were due to the nodules she chose not to have removed, but something tells me she most likely did try to have them removed and her voice was damaged. Not fully, but enough where she no longer has the same range and control.

Who is putting her in these outfits she can’t move in? The dancers need to go. She has Debby Allen who is in her 70’s putting together these routines that are tacky and the production value, while slightly better, still needs to be improved. There were two very big stadium shows this year that had insane production value at similar price points, and while this isn’t a stadium show the price needs to reflect the quality. This felt uninspired and unrehearsed and anyone that says otherwise is in denial. An amateur high school talent show at best. The “she has nothing left to prove” lambs are wrong. Mariah is a legacy act who has everything to prove, if not to the general public at the very least to her fans that she says she adores. Show us you care about us by showing how much you still care for your craft. Mariah hasn’t had a single memorable performance in the last decade except 2, and one of them was at the 2014 tree lighting and the other was on NYE 2016. Not really the performances you want to stick out in your career. She needs a new team and new inspiration. The two Christmas specials were lazy, Big Energy Remix was the most disappointing feature she has ever done, Global Citizen and Lovers & Friends were a mess. Even the “It’s Time” video this year was so haphazardly produced. People have literally written full treatments for a defrosting “It’s Time” video and Mariah and her team finally do it and put together the most bare minimum production? It’s time for a rebrand or for her to just take a break and find her happy space because music and performing isn’t it right now.
Or perhaps it's time for you to move on from her? What is up with the branch of fans that love to shit on this woman no matter what yet can't seem to move on down the road to someone else. Let other people enjoy their experience and get over it.

Many of you just feel really entitled to telling her what you think she should do as an artist and vocalist while none of us ever comparing to her type of success. Definitely agree with everything here. I think that she should just quit while she is ahead. I mean why is she still performing anyway? Does she really need the money? I think that if she cannot perform better than this live, then she should just do music videos, or studio recordings, acoustic like she was doing before in pandemic. Honestly, not that much lipping, not sooo many live attempts at high notes either, but I really prefer that than lipping. I want to hear Mariah sing for real, idc if it's all low notes, her voice is heavenly regardless of the range she's singing in! And she did rlly great here on the live parts!!

I always thought her vocal issue were due to the nodules she chose not to have removed, but something tells me she most likely did try to have them removed and her voice was damaged. Not fully, but enough where she no longer has the same range and control.
