- We were in St. Petersburg again for a family birthday party for Stephanie's nephews. We are trying to be better at doing a little exploring for our channel while there. Brian was doing some research on cheap eats in the area and stumbled upon Uptown Eats. This is a hip little coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch just outside of Downtown St. Petersburg. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, breakfast bowl and the gouda grits. The grits are seriously delicious and we highly recommend them!

Those grits were so good. I wasn’t kidding when I said I want Brian to recreate them! I’m pretty sure there will be no videos from the reunion. 🤣 I’ll be creating my review video this weekend. We shall see how it turns out! -S
Excellent video and very cool place! The Uptown Sandwich looked very good, as did the gouda grits. The Greens-N-Things also looked good, but not my speed, especially while nursing a hangover. Lol!

He’s having a good time spending time with his mom and brothers. Probably getting in some trouble but I’ll never know 😂. The Greens-N-Things would probably be better paired with a mimosa or some sort of drink. They were ok but those grits were amazing! -S

Hey Stephanie and Brian! The food this week looks so unique! I've never seen a fried egg on a salad. I wouldn't want it for breakfast, but it sounds amazing for lunch! Hi Stephanie and Brian as always a good review there is a huge American Tik Toker i saw her making Grits and they Look so good I always thought they tasted Like our Porridge Oats here in the UK but i believe they are totally different That Burger Looked yummy but the Salad would`nt appeal to me lol have a great week guys
These grits were so so good! Best grits I’ve ever had. Most of the time they are so bland no matter what you add. These were so creamy and savory. I’m drooling just thinking about them now! -S

I was telling Brian, I grew up in St. Pete until I moved away for college and I don’t think I’ve ever been to Tarpon Springs, which is pretty crazy. Maybe we will have to take the kids there next time we visit the family! -S

Definitely was a healthier breakfast spot. Especially Brian’s meal! We don’t typically eat breakfast so this was a nice spot to grab a light meal! -S

Well, I was commenting while watching and wrote a book, and luckily for you I accidentally lost it when I bumped a key on the keyboard of my laptop. The breakfast sandwich sounded good, collard greens, if not cooked off it is a must for me to remove the stems which are bitter. That usually causes the bitterness. The aioli, I am always intrigued when one mentions it by wondering what did they flavor it with? It could have been plain. Brian's tea sounds nice, I would have to sweeten it though! I remember somewhere you (S.) were saying you caught that "cold", but at least you are up and alive and making more videos. Grits are not my thing either, and if I must eat them I like it sweet, but I trust you S. that these were great! The Greens N Things sounds good, as long as the greens are fresh. I love black beans! (all beans actually) The brussel sprouts sound like they were roasted. Great video,...this channel has moved up to the top 2 of my favorite channels on youtube. Should be interesting to see if this channel or my channel gets to 1K subs first. I happily think you two will get there first though. Great review, and Thank You!
Your first sentence literally made me lol. Sounds like something I would do. Yea… Brian got the virus first and was negative before I turned up positive. Thankfully we both had pretty mild cases. I don’t know that I’ve ever had sweet grits. It’s something I’ll have to try! Must grits I’ve had are just bland and no matter how much butter/seasoning we add they just don’t get better 😂. We enjoyed our little date while we left the kids with the grandparents for a little bit! -S

So the healthier entree doesn't taste as good as the unhealthy entree. Makes sense. LOL. Uptown Eats looks good even if it doesn't technically qualify as cheap eats. We love Big Brother. Haven't watched it yet this season. Will have to catch up. Thanks for sharing this place with us!
Right?! Not surprised that unhealthy is better than healthy 😂. Honestly it was still good though but not really what we look for for a breakfast. Big Brother is seriously my biggest guilty pleasure! -S
