That Frederic Malle was one of my first niche fragrances. The bitter orange is one of the most realistic and beautiful orange scents in the game. But it’s Elena, a magician with citrus scents. Not the biggest fan of green scents but love this one.
Allure Homme, D&G The One edt are definitely on my list despite being relatively new. I would add L’ Instant De Guerlain edt. Stuff gets me every time. Nice stuff Ash!
ASH , sorry this is off topic to this video.. I just received the Jet Black Enigma.... wow! its is absolutely fantastic!!! Great Job! I look forward to more releases in the future !
Great video Ash! Don’t ever apologize for the length of your videos, man. Those of us that are in the 5% will watch any length video you make. Also, totally agree with this list. Gotta add Drakkar Noir to it! Can’t wait to try out Drakkar Intense…be well Ash! 👍
Cant believe havnt seen a review of mercedes benz sign . Ive had this one since it came out lovee this one . If you like the cardamon note you would proabably really like this one
Sandstorm? Think you meant to say Sander Van Doorn. =) Encre Noire was a blind purchase and it has become one of my favorite winter fragrances. Being inexpensive made doing a blind purchase easier. I need to try Neroli Portofino. I recently tried Sole di Positano and think that would make a great summer/beach scent. Only to find out it is hard to find. Guessing it has been discontinued because it's not even on the Tom Ford website. Ugh. No Drakkar Noir?! =)
I’m surprised that Polo EDT didn’t make the list since it has been around for so long and still sells in retail. Just a super classic scent in my opinion.
I wonder what’s next for Dior. They have always gone against the grain with things like Fahrenheit or Homme. Until Sauvage, where they wanted to sell the most likeable fragrance. Will they follow the money or will they continue making unique master pieces?
I’m anxious to hear the reply. I recently bought the Ala Extreme version and love it. I’ve never smelled the original, so I’m looking forward to the opinion. I’ve also recently purchased the Sport flanker and it has grown on me. I want pleased initially by it, now I can’t get enough of it.
In my humble opinion, it's much better and wearable than the original, which is an undeniably inspired scent. I just never feel like wearing it even though I like to smell the bottle lol
Yes. It's just a bottle of water, now. Not even alcohol. Just water. This happens with all the fragrances after the first year they are put to sale. Water in a plastic bottle. I really love this reformulation talk.
La nuit de l'homme is still a fantastic fragrance - sure it has been reformulated, but i simply use one spray extra and carry a small bottle with 10ml with me and apply one extra spray every 3 hours - works perfectly.
Chanel allure homme and d+g the one are two of my favourite fragrance's . Dior homme intense is amazing but it's not very versatile. I get a dish washing liquid vibe from neroli portifino and it's over priced.
I think Dior Homme Eau for men gets NO love. Plus I hate that macys discontinued it !! 😢 I’ve been using Prada Lhomme to get by, but I’ve actually saved drops of eau for men for those special occasions
Completely agree with pretty much all here, specially DHI, LNDL, AdG, Encre Noire, and Chanel Allure Homme, the last one being quite underrated in general, yet such a great all-rounder. Some others I think will (or should, or I hope will) stand the test of time: Mugler Cologne, Dior Fahrenheit, Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum, Terre de Hermes, Bleu de Chanel, and Prada L'Homme.
dior fahrenheit it's subjective I think it will get discontinued because so many people hate it....as for Mugler RIP so sad he passed away but I fear their fragrance will be discontinued now too
He also forgot 1 million, armani code, spicebomb extreme, versace pour homme, issey miyake, calvin klein eternity, parfums de marley layton, Jimmy choo man, cool water, guerlain l'homme ideal, boss bottled, replica jazz club, a*men pure coffee, amen pure havanne, rochas man
@@GrowingDownUnder Everything about fragrances is subjective of course. I personally do not like AdG the OG, not too fond of many aquatics in general. The Profumo flanker is one I like though. But about the OG I understand how it stands the test of time to this day at least.
Acqua Di Gio is timeless. Been wearing it since 97 and still keep a backup bottle on stand by. 1st fragrance I ever bought a backup bottle for fear of it being discontinued. Did the same thing with Sauvage Elixir ...I have 3 full bottles of Elixir👌🏻
Hey Ash! Off topic but have you had a chance to check out Individuel Tonic by Mont Blanc? I never heard about it, just picked it up. Any thoughts on it?
0:55...Aventus,yeah happy it was created because it inspired Armaf to surpass it for a fraction of the $. Armaf Club de Nuit Intense will definitely stand the test of time. Don't feed the Creed greed.

@@taylorbervik9417 I had to use an australian website, so if you're in australia you can use ozfragrances .com but i've ordered from scent split too they are great just not much range it's all niche on scent split. I'd recommend joining some fragrance groups on fb for trading, buying, selling, swapping there's people who sell decants and samples and partially used fragrances. The other option would just be testing/sampling at stores it's free that way. Sometimes you get free samples with purchases too, although i've noticed some fragrance companies offering small samples on their websites now instead of full bottles so if you're after something you can't find just check if that designer brand has any samples on their website some usually do
Dior Homme Intense 2020 is a big disappointment for me in comparison with the version of 2011: very weak performance and the smell is not the same anymore; it smells too artificial 😣What have you done, Dior?🤦♂️ Why, Dior?🤷♂️🤷♂️

Got one similar to this coming up soon

about freaking time allure homme gets its due respect
I came back just to rewatch the Sandstorm part. Thankfully, searching GentsScents channel for the word "Sandstorm" DELIVERED. Love the channel, Ash.
Allure Homme, D&G The One edt are definitely on my list despite being relatively new. I would add L’ Instant De Guerlain edt. Stuff gets me every time. Nice stuff Ash!
I love the Superman feel of the name editing of this video
Is Bleu Electrique discontinued already?
Loving the daily uploads and new editing style!
La nuit de l’homme and D&G: The one 🔥🔥
Thanks so much!!
Please… make longer videos if you desire. I love learning and watching. I’ll watch any length!
I see you’re trying out some new fonts and transitions. Nice man
Great list and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day

Solid list. I think Artisan Pure deserves a mention. That scent is so versatile

I was really expecting Drakkar Noir to be #1!
Great choices!
I ordered TF Neroli Portofino and my wife had it in with her fragrances before I got home.

I'm wondering what's next for Chanel. They're overdue another new line masculine OG. They are few and far between on masculines.
It’s almost a guarantee that Dior is about to do big things w MFK as their new lead perfumer
Terre D’hermes
Allure Homme is defeletly my favorite!!
You gotta do a list for the warehouse workers like fedex and Amazon...
Montblanc legend spirit,D&G light blue, nothing strong, but a versatile fragrance
Blue De Chanel JPG Ultra Male

Heard people say that Sport is more versatile and mass appealing. Will get that soon
Drakkar Noir should be on your list, brother!!
wich is the better imitation of creed aventus
Green Irish Tweed is timeless
You need to start doing some videos on where you get your SWEATERS
Is Dior homme intense still worth buying these days? no reformulation issues or anything that anyone has experienced.
I have the same question and I what heard is that you can’t tell the difference
Me old mate, i've just got to ask, what does rudy mean?
Has the Bentley for men Intense been reformulated?
Performance wise its still really strong, in terms of the scent i cant rate it because i just got my bottle ( but it smells great imo)
