Hey! I have to say again how much I have enjoyed this series and how it makes me appreciate my own tiny home theater. In my setup, I’m using all SVS speakers including thier Elevation speakers which are slanted and much like your RBH speakers, work great ceiling mounted. Took the family to Disney World over the holidays and am still catching up on the videos in your series but just had to comment again on how great this series is!
Thank you so much! So glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos! This tiny theater project has been so much fun and I’m glad others get to come along for the ride. I got to hear SVS speakers at MWAVE and was really impressed. Hopefully I can someday get some in my house to try out. Cheers!
@ SVS definitely suits my needs and I’m just using the Prime series but completely happy with them. I wanted to ask did you do anything to “lock” those ceiling speakers? The mount is great but I’d be concerned with vibrations possibly working them loose. The Prime Elevations have this block you slide in that locks them on the mount. Hoping your speakers may have something similar.
I would love to see a review of long-run HDMI cables, particularly those ranging from 25 to 40 feet. I really enjoy the channel, especially the small room series, and I’m excited to see the RBH setup!
As much as I like there AMT tweeter that silk dome is nothing to sneeze at it surprises me every time I hear it, that it's not the step down I would expect it to be
@GeorgeTheaterAtHome looking forward to that video. Would like to know what you said the crossover on the subwoofer. And the crossover on the amplifier for the subwoofer
Thank you for your comment. Drilling into the speakers does not negatively affect performance as the screws create a tight and sealed fit. We did ample testing before finalizing this concept. Happy New Year!
Awesome! 🎉 look forward to sound impressions and comparisons!! Curious how you will integrate the 2nd sub in the small room along with the RSL. Plus with the full range fronts, and 2 subs, sounds like you can really play with subwoofer placement! The RBH is a sealed sub, but the RSL is ported, how will you integrate the 2 plus with the 8”s in front LR? Please make some A/B videos with the cheap setup🎉 Ps. Such an awesome setup! 🎉
So if money doesn’t matter or in wall or on wall doesn’t matter. Just going by the sound and clarity. Which is your favorite your golden ear or your rbh speakers?
May be less of an issue in your tiny theater room, but with those being on-wall/ceiling I’m curious your thoughts on pointing directly at the MLP vs flush on the wall?
I'm not seeing the height speakers you got on the link? Am I just missing it? Looking into these speakers because my home theater room isn't very big and these on wall speakers look great for saving space.
I have some RBH Impression series on-walls. They truly are incredible speakers for their size. My one gripe is that I don't think RBH specs the bass response accurately. They claim bass extension down to 70Hz. In my experience, they roll off at around 100Hz. Maybe even a bit higher depending on your installation. I've tried them mounted in several different locations throughout my house to ensure that it's not the fault of bass nulls in the room. I've also done outdoor ground plane measurements. I have found zero evidence to confirm that these speakers are capable of 70Hz bass extension. To be clear, I still like these speakers and don't think 100-110Hz bass extension is unreasonable for slim speakers like this. I just wish that RBH would be more accurate in their claimed spec.
Hello. Sorry about the confusion. I've just reviewed the data and the anechoic measurement is flat to 100hz with a 3dB down point at 90hz and a 6dB downpoint at 70hz. We adjusted for boundary reinforcement with it being wall mounted and the 3dB downpoint is really close to 70hz. However, relative to 100hz, the entire midbass region is boosted which would make 100hz more prominent and therefore 70hz has quite a bit less output than 100hz, but relative to the entire frequency curve, it is -3dB. Feel free to email Kenny with your measurements. I would be curious to see them. -Kenny
@@garyharper2943we are loaning them for review and advertising. We are not paying him for a good review. We want him to be as unbiased as possible. With that being said, this 11.1 system retails for about $5500 total as of today. Cheers!
Ok, so you are using a sub, so you do not want to run these full range then, i'd still run them small and cross over, 60-90 hz dependong how much work you want the sub to do
Yeah, that definitely would have been a good option. I really want to try the RBH sub because I was super impressed with them at MWAVE and in their showroom demo. So now I can compare RBH to RSL. 👍. Thanks for watching!
He's already listened to them at our factory, so I'm sure he's not lying about his initial thoughts. He is not being paid to say nice things. In fact, we want him to be 100% honest. Reviewing the good and the bad. Time will tell. PS, the S-12HPS was our number 1 selling product in 2024. I don't think it's coincidence. Cheers and happy new year!
Looking forward to hearing about these speakers in your small room. But OMFG, PUT THE SCISSORS DOWN!!! Use a proper box knife. Heck, Harbor Freight sells them at the register for under a $1. The only thing cringier than using scissors to 'professionally' open a box, is to use one's keys. Please don't do that either. Seeing someone unbox anything on RUclips with keys or scissors, makes me want to close the video as they come off as not serious and not worth my time. Don't be that guy. Use a box knife. Thanks.
While editing the video I knew someone was gonna comment on those wild scissors 😆. I grabbed the closest sharp and went to town on those boxes. Next time I’ll make the trek out to the garage to get the box cutter

@ I’m actually surprised to hear you had not heard SVS until recently!
Those speakers look well made and well packed in the boxes they come in
Lucky You! You get to play with all the good stuff. Have fun.
Just purchased a bunch of the same speakers from RBH! Can’t wait to see what you think!
@@daneatkins we're excited for you too!
Looking forward to the comparison of the speakers

You’re in luck! I just received some new 45 ft HDMI cables with a cool new feature. Will hopefully have a video out soon. Stay tuned!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos! Thanks for watching!
Good thing you just calibrated😂. You're going to be a calibration pro after this.🎉 Thanks for the great content
I know, right?! Just when you get things dialed in you gotta start back at the beginning 😆. Thanks, glad you’re enjoying the videos!
OMG droooooool this is exactly what I am planning on ordering! Except I want the ribbon version :)
Those look amazing! And I’m sure they sound 👍👍. Here’s my affiliate link to order directly from the manufacturer.

George you need an unboxing knife !!
Next time 😁
Very interesting in your small Bedroom set up. Could you do a video of how you set up the subwoofer. Without using drag or any other thing like this
I’m planning to make some videos about dialing in the dual subs. Thanks for watching!
@GeorgeTheaterAtHome looking forward to that video. Would like to know what you said the crossover on the subwoofer. And the crossover on the amplifier for the subwoofer
Yes you can had look it's free standing speaker for LCR configuration looks good too
wow those towers look like a great deal for $1450 a pair. I thought RBH just made massive titan sized speakers like the ones gene has
Happy new year! Does drilling into speakers affect acoustics?

Thanks, I'll have to play around with the integration. I'm excited to get the subs dialed in!
I like the French cleats for mounting in the on wall model. I am not a fan of ML's plastic wall mount on the Motion 4i.
Nice 👍

Good question! I will check for that when I test them.
BTW, your RSL sub is not sealed. It has a rear firing vent.
You’re right, my bad! Thanks for catching that.
RBH just have a price increase?
Also is your receiver and amps on a 15 amp breaker or 20amp o and your subs? Thanks
My tiny theater is on a 15 amp circuit (haven’t blown it yet 🤞😁) and my main theater is on a 20 amp circuit.
NICE !
That’s a fantastic upgrade for sure. I loved them at mwave too.

The Height speakers are not on the website. But you can call RBH and order them. Good luck with your project!
RBH is what Gene Dellasala(sp) from Audioholics uses in his home theater / music room. Nice speakers 🔊 👌
Thank you for the kind remarks.
typical wood is MDF (medium density) vs HDF
Any links to the speakers you got?
I added the links to the description
Nice! I'm looking to do the same thing. Can you post the model numbers for those speakers please and thanks.

Could you try and get a RSL bookshelf to compare the RBH bookshelf. I’m trying to decide which one to get because of the small form. Thanks
That’s a great idea! I’ll see if RSL can send me a speaker to check out.
The atmos speakers look similar to svs primes

lol. Two things. Invest in a box cutter or knife. Easier to cut things open. Also, the L/R’s just sit on the floor, no legs to stabilize them?
They do include stabilizer “legs.” I’ll use a box cutter next time 😁
You should Demo Arendale's Products
I would love to! Hopefully I’ll get to try them.
