My father had one in the 2000s. It served a family of 4, going every day in a big city traffic and weekly to the country-side. Then yearly over the mountains. Today, I have an new 100HP car which I feel very underpowered...it's not. That 41HP Tico drove us everywhere and we were happy. Sadly I took those moment for granted, they will never come back. Thank you, father.
It’s truly fascinating how a simple RUclips video about a tiny, old, and reliable car can serve as a poignant reminder of a much larger issue we face in today’s world. Our propensity to exaggerate and overemphasize the latest trends and innovations has real-life consequences, both in terms of our wallets and our overall quality of life. In an age where bigger, faster, and shinier seem to be the driving forces behind our consumer choices, we often lose sight of the true value of simplicity and reliability. While it’s natural to admire and celebrate technological advancements, it’s equally important to appreciate the practicality and longevity of items like the small, old car.
Absolutely sharing your points. This, along with the Seicento, is one small car for the everyday people. No bull, no pompousness. A steering wheel, a chassis, 4 wheels, windows all around. Period.
Lest we forget...it is the SAME innovation we are currently lamenting allowing us to wax poetic on this old(er) car ..that brought this car into existence in the first place ...in its time the same words were said...and in days future the same thing will be said of our time(and cars).....proof that though we may think otherwise......there TRULY is NOTHING new under the sun✌️
Nice video. The Tico was extremely popular for taxi service in Peru during the 1990s and 2000s, nowadays it's extremely rare to see one of these as a taxi at least in Lima.
Puszka pepsi na kołach. Przeleciałem kiedyś takim skrzyżowanie zimą przy zblokowanych kołach, piękna sprawa. Mimo wyczynów iście kaskaderskich ta furka nie chciała się poddać.
One of the best cars in small cities or villages, easy to drive, small, don't break too much, and had pretty much space for such a small car, just perfect Low fuel consumption as one of main thinga
I wish daewoo comeback to making cars again GM killed this company, they still make great trucks and buses and machinery so I hope they comeback somehow

Very well put. I love old trusty reliable simple cars. New cars that are gigantic and have all the gadgets do nothing for me at all

Nowadays companies are moving away from making mechanically simple cars like the Tico because customers demand for more luxuries as standard features.
