- Got a response back from ebay and they will NOT be refunding me
Authenticity guarantee is supposedly some kind of guarantee to make sure you get legit shoes. I bought a pair of yeezy QNTM barium to test out their claims and was sold a pair of what seemed to be very fake shoes. This is a video explaining why ebay cannot claim they have a guarantee of authenticity
Or...the authenticate swapped the real ones with the fugaze
It makes you wonder what do they do to prevent that?

Anything wrong with the shoes beside the labeling and the boxes? I think you have a real pair there bro and might just be paranoid. They’re all made in China and quality control is 50/50 we just don’t pay attention to the color of the box or tags when we buy at foot locker
Did you ever find out if the Box color was supposed to be different? Did you blacklight the Box? Honestly none of your Red Flags seemed that bad except the Box. If the Box is supposed to be the same as the Blue pair then you FOR SURE got a fake Box and in that case the shoes might as well be fake too.

Bought these shoe over a year ago and trying to get my foot in them was difficult and uncomfortable because they are so tight so I threw them in my closet.Was going thru my collection and completely forgot about these.I decided to look them up and was surprised because I paid a hundred bucks and now the value on them is 220+ now...Not bad for just a year...So back in the closet they go....Never know...
Just a box dude and your “real” box has been sitting in lightning for months and the new “fake” box has been sitting in the dark for months

I've gotten over 10 pairs of shoes off eBay since the authentication process and taking every shoe I've gotten to be authenticated at my local authentication store and they all pass there too and I cut the eBay authenticity tag off before having them authenticated a second time 🤷🏽♂️

Terrible service from eBay authenticity. Lost my order and now have to pay an extra £200 to purchase the same trainer. Will not be using ebay ever again.
Honestly its hard to say if you telling the truth without all the evidence. I click on several video form your channel and you talk about fake sneakers a lot. You even mentioned how companies send you fake sneakers. For all we know you could switch up the fake with the retail pair. Maybe you are chasing clouts. I don't know ... I didn't subscribe to your channel because something doesn't seem right.. good luck to you.

Ebay has some bullshit with the authentication process too.. if you buy a pair of Bred 4s on ebay.. seller can send a total different pair of jordan 4s. Authentication will say that pair is authentic an ship it to you knowing it's not the right shoe and there is nothing that can be done if seller says no returns..
Helpful video. I’m looking at new balance 993, which I cannot even get from new balance themselves besides in size extra wide 15. Found tons on eBay with guarantee less than half the price.
A guarantee means if you are not happy we will give you your money back, unfortunately not the case. Every seller selling these have 0 feedback. It sucks but glad I found this video and many others like it. Thanks again

Interesting. I've got a pending order for a NB993 from a 0-feedback seller. That would have spooked me, but the eBay authentication guarantee made me willing to take the risk. As I write this, the authenticator (Las Vegas) received the shoes more than 3 weeks ago, and nothing since then. Dunno whether the long delay is a backlog or a problem being investigated. Yes, it's fair to wonder how fallible the authenticators and authentication process might be. I'd like to see some white hats deliberately try to "sell" some hard-to-detect fake shoes to a "customer" to test the procedure. I'm curious how my own case will play out.

All of the sellers (12 or more)below $150 had 0 feedback. To be honest if they look legit and are comfortable, I could probably care less if fakes as apposed to spending 300 . Good luck
@@Joestacemazjojo Yep, arrived at authenticator on 9/9, and it's still there today (10/4)! I'll update this thread when it gets resolved. I could inquire, but with the shoes in limbo I don't know how to do that. I just want a decent pair of shoes; I probably couldn't detect a good counterfeit. We'll see.

I think they could impliment something like if you dont believe theyre authentic you can pay to send them back to be re-authenticated by 2 or more different people, and if they pass again then hey great, they did their job the first time so this comes out of your pocket. However, if they find out theyre fake the second time around, then you get a full refund for everything including having sent them back.
Yea that would be nice, but when they put "guaranteed authentic" on a listing, if they took your shoe back and discovered they were fake, they would be admitting that it's not guaranteed authentic. It's a good idea, but ebay would never do it

You can contact the Seller after the Authenticity Check by clicking another item they have for sell.I ordered around 10 pairs and they did catch a 11 Low UNC fake, and when I purchased the Off White 5 Sails,they did have a lot of Glue stains but were Authentic.I do think they did make a mistake on yours.I mean to many Red Flags and overall they just look really Dingy.Hopefully they will correct their mistake.

I just got my first pair of Jordans authenticated by ebay and I really don't know, the authentication was done extremely fast, I really don't know if that's a good thing, not even a day, if you are anxious to get the shoes could be good but to really inspect the shoes the way they say they do I really don't think they are really doing it.
Jordans already had a Stockx tag and I assume they will remove that and place the ebay tag instead but they leave 2 tags now on my shoes and after I check myself with UV light I found a lot of glue marks on one of the shoes that I really don't think should be there, specially on a retail pair.
I really don't feel ebay is doing what they say.
That's just my personal opinion.

I see many comments praising this sneakerCON place. The 'CON' certainly fits them! I sold a pair of highly sought after sneakers on ebay a few months ago. I bought them brand new from a very reputable online company a few years ago. The shoes were never worn or even removed from the box until I took pictures for my ad on ebay. A few days after mailing them out, I got an email from ebay saying the shoes were not authenticated because of "an undisclosed odor" eg: smoke. I don't smoke, and I live alone! The shoes never had an "odor" of smoke, that's just ridiculous. Likely, the 'authenticator' was having a bad day, or somebody else there came back in from a smoke break. But, to come up with that nonsense about my shoes is just pathetic! Because of that, I lost out on a pretty nice sale, at a time when I really needed the money.
my QNTM box is identical to yours and i got mine from JD Sports its been like two years but this is a slept on model. all of the shoes ive bought off ebay have passed second authenticity from local shops.

Just bought some Jordan 11 Low Cherry Bottoms on eBay and the right shoe looks bigger than the left so they may be fake hopefully the people that check it knows that it's bigger

@@DevanRock1 I had a pair of “new with box” Travis lows and they came damaged in the stitching clear as day as if someone ripped it out. I left the shoes exactly the way they came and filed a return request even tho it says no returns. Tags attached from authentication etc. do you think they’ll accept it? It’s messed up since I spent a lot and now I get this show with damaged stitching

@@DevanRock1 hopefully. It even came from solestage im very disappointed. It said “new with box” and then the stitching was ripped off. I feel like they didn’t even inspect it. They said there looking into it when I filed the return request I said damaged and provided pictures for proof. I’ll call them if anything I’ll use goat now or only sellers that provide pucs
Just a heads up. As a headphone user, when you keep banging the shoes onto the boxes it makes it very hard to concentrate on what you are saying as it's very loud and unnecessary. It might be the location of your mic. Not hating at all I really liked the video just a suggestion for future videos.

I own both and the bariums are authentic. They just have different cuts on the suede compared to the og quantum’s and blue colorway.
So your box is darker for the bariums than any other yeezy box? Your shoe tags also have the same messed up printing?

This is a bummer to hear. But there's some real red flags on eBay anyway. Some really low priced shoes with authentication guarantee on them. If it's too good to be true it probably is.

Bro mine didnt even come with the ebay tag or nothing. They came straight to my house from china... The seller location said North Carolina USA... They drop ship these shoes straight from china and completely by passed the authentication phase and I have no way of contacting ebay and out of $200. Complete bs and I get completely ripped off
@@benjaminpresley7513 they gotta figure out something bro. I got my shoes and cut the tag off because I expected to wear them, then a few days later I noticed a couple things were off. Their customer service basically told me “we checked them so that means they’re real and there’s no refund”

I just sold a pair of yeezy's and it took 3 wks for the buyer to receive them. I sent them of to the authenticator same day and they received them 2 days later. In my opinion 3wks is way 2 long.

great video man. I wouldn't have said what you said about being okay with fake shoes. I feel like even if you're not buying to be a scammer you're still promoting the business of scammers by giving counterfeiters money. Much like how I don't buy hacks for video games, or buy fake Pokémon cards, the idea that you're giving money to someone who is helping scammers just makes the whole thing wrong.
Now that being said, if someone buys a replica, as in one that says that it's fake and doesn't counterfeit, that's fine. The One in the Chamber shoes or the customs that Shoe Surgeon makes are nice replicas/homages. Those are great.
Think about it, the reason you got fakes, was because there's a market for counterfeits. I know more people who buy counterfeits than buy OG. It's really sad, and each time those people say "I only buy for me." then they scam someone when times get tough and need cash. I've seen it before. It's awful. Don't support fakes, the deserve to be shamed.

I have six pairs of Yeezy’s. I went & checked and every box is the exact same color.
I have a pair of genuine yeezys, gently used. eBay took them off my listings as fakes without checking them. They are real.

No returns no money back guarantee no point.! Buyers beware if you get something that's been authenticated and you disagree your out numbered 2 to 1 for a start. 3 to 1 if you involve PayPal they will back the other 2.
