  • Some goals leave you empty even after you've clearly achieved them... why is that?
The secret is in the journey, not just the destination. The real value of goals is the hard work that you learn to discipline yourself to do, and the changes that that causes in your self. Forget about quick wins; learn why embracing the grind is where the real magic happens.
Hi, I’m Conor Neill, I speak and write about Persuasion, the art of Moving People to Action. I have the privilege of being father to two great little daughters. I live in Barcelona, Spain.

So true Connor... We must be prepared to pay the price for what we want and in doing so, we relish and value the achieved goal, much more than just taking a helicopter to the top. No Sacrifice, No Success!

    ♥️Such a priceless reflection!
    - The value of our journey is directly proportional to the price we are willing to pay (doing the hard piece in achievement of our goals)

Can't agree with you more. Honestly I've never really learned anything valuable in life without going through hardships. It's not a life worth living without overcoming challenges

Rarely are there short cuts in life. I couldn’t be agree more. Who you become as the result what sacrifices and fears you are willing to face head on. Want to improve your focus? Start taking cold showers each morning. It might be one of the toughest things you ever try. In times it will become second nature and relatively easy. Try it for ninety days and you’ll never turn back.

cold showers... my first step is to switch the water to cold for the last minute of my showers... in summer... I have a few steps to go before a fully cold shower in december!

@@ConorNeill Hot/Cold showers are a great place to start. I did them for two years before I went all cold. I saw a guy on RUclips named “Ice Man” who pushed me over the edge. Tremendous health benefits to both options.

In case of two available options go for the one which is more difficult. It will transform you to OTHER YOU.

I listened to a friend share his personal credo... and one of the elements was "fewer, better" - a few hard things rather than many medium things might be a good path to explore
