At the last one you actually have to twist the two sections in the same direction, and when you twist the two parts together you have to twist them the opposite way. It looks way better that way

For the twist braid, it actually holds better when you twist both sections in the same direction, and then twist them in the opposite direction of that around each other! Not sure if that makes sense lol
