I think the sentence of 'Magic has the essence of something that needs to exist' is probably the best way to describe that thing that keeps bringing me back. Even after putting a substantial amount of time on and off and not improving sufficiently at deck building or evaluation of cards, I do keep coming back to it. I am just lucky in a sense that I did not invest too much money into it. Zan was a magic guy I used to see on my way to work or coming back from work, I missed his way of thinking about the game. Hopefully, he can put his creative energy into his game development and give people a product will love
did he mention promising to give away a black lotus to build hype but then not following through while silently leaving the community? it seems like that could be a contributing factor.
