  • A magnificent and very rugged traverse of Corrán Tuatháil mountain with and ascent up through the Heavenly gates and descent from the summit down O'Shea's Gully to the Hag's Glen.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I especially appreciated the names posted throughout. I’ve done both routes up and down and it’s certainly not for the inexperienced hiker. Take care and thank you for sharing this experience.

My brother and I both know the mountain very well. On that day it was very wet, windy and misty and it took us less than 5 hours from and back to the carpark. We took our time and enjoyed the outing. It is a very rugged traverse and others might take a lot longer time to complete. A compass and map would be beneficial for less experienced people.

Great video's! Is there a good place to get topographical maps of the mountain? I'm a kiwi and I don't have the wonderful instincts as a local!
