Only done the climb once in July '20. Up + down via ladder. I'm a reasonably fit 52, but found descent via ladder a challenge. Any recommendations? I want to do the climb again in the new year, as cloud was in at summit, zero vis. Any tips really appreciated.

Hey Brian! I have plenty of other routes here on my RUclips channel, my favourite would be 'the curved gully' which is a brilliant route if you don't have a fear of heights. Coming down the zigzags would be a safer option, which is just passed the devil's ladder coming back from the summit.

Hi bro.. did you came back the same way via devils ladder? And which way was easier this one or O'sheas? Greetings from Poland 😁✌️

Hello buddy, Devils ladder is now as precarious as O Shea's due to so many people ascending the route. Scree is incredibly loose. I would now advise O Shea's for ascent and heavenly gates to descend. Regards 👍
