    • @askmeyicare
      @askmeyicare Год назад +1

      Clutch pull is way better but it doesn’t fully disengage running stock plates. I put a toque drive clutch after burning up the stock one in about 15 hours. So far it’s been working well.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  Год назад

      Clutch pull is surely easier. I like the new body work. But it is kinda a trade off. Seat feels a little taller and firmer. It does kinda make it feel like the front end steers better. But the older one feels softer in the seat area and kinda easier on the butt during long rides.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  7 месяцев назад

      That sounds weird to have engine braking from a pipe. I haven't experienced that myself. Maybe try putting the stock pipe back on and get a good back to back? The PC pipe does have less bottom than the OEM pipe but will have more mid and top end. However to get the top end pull out of the PC pipe it does require a little bit of jetting. Mainly the main jet likes to be a little leaner than the OEM pipe does. PC recommends 175 main for the PC pipe but thats at sea level at 70 degrees. I currently run a 172 main in the summer and 175 in the colder winter days.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  Год назад +1

      You will hear people say longer silencers are better for top end and vs versa. Especially back in the day. Even magazines would claim this (Which I never subscribed to that theory personally) . Enduro riders are usually required to have a spark arrestor so thats why their silencers usually look long. On the hare scramble races Ive done that require a long spark arrestor silencer it seemed to kill top end but also didnt help the bottom end any. Didnt like using them at all.
