my advice for you is to hot glue a slip proof shoe pad on the bottom. first the concrete will rub it loose and a slippery floor will make you fall. anyway they look nice, so good job

TheCherokee63 , I would have used e6000 and hot glue, then no worries , hot glue with give a fast hold while e6000 sets...

why did you choose to put the seam down the middle instead of on the sides, also, what was the reasoning behind keeping the hem as opposed to cutting them?

They rolled down but not dramatically. All thigh highs roll down a little on me so it was nothing out of the ordinary.

@kenyaclancy if you use double sided tape you will be fine.
The best way to keep that from happening is an elastic band at the top or add a tie to the top.

did the hot glue gun method last, did you have any issues with your shoes?
Or just use a razor blade or exactor knife and cut the fabric right the edge. I have a pair of wedges I'm trying to figure out to jean boot them!!

I followed your tutorial but everything I waked I would fall so had to put sand paper in the bottom of the feels
better to use a boot thats already high and has a form because they look literally like jeans pulled over ur shoes in my opinion the ankle shows theres no form under the pants ... its easy yes but only because its so basic i would like to see u remix the look with a better shoe

Maybe you can add some diamonds or glitter glue designs on it to jazz it up. I think that's what I'm gonna do. She already gave us a good base to work with.

Not bad! It's just the bottom of the shoe that concerns me. You can slip and fall on time or marble floor. And can you see the bottom when crossing your legs or walking. But, for a quickie wear, I think they're awesome.

I actually really liked it how it looked with the leg first was stuck on. I would have just covered the strap near the toes with denim and left them at that as they looked cute!
glue gets really hot i no from doing other arts n crafts so applying it while on and so close to my skin is a no no the burn will be unbearable n this method is very dangerous

Ashanti Haley the bottoms weren’t slippery for me but I definitely recommend getting some anti slip shoe soles so you don’t wear out the bottom! They sell them on amazon for cheap!
