12:06 - RJ Mitchell died of cancer, not tuberculosis.
27::18 & 30:45 - No Focke Wulf Fw-190s were in service during the Battle of Britain.
30:40 - Cannon Armed Spitfires were exceedingly rare during the Battle of Britain.
Speaking of which, I love the black and white rendered footage from the movie "Battle of Britain" (1969) of the pilots scramble, shooting down Ju-87 Stukas, etc.

I agree. I saw rectal cancer on Wikipedia. Perhaps the documentary makers made a mistake because he got TB as a complication of his cancer? Like Pneumonia being the last straw with Aids or whatever...

So was the F4F Wildcat, though after Grumman began production of the F6F Hellcat the Wildcat production line was taken over by the Eastern Aircraft Division of General Motors. They boosted the engine by 100 HP, reduced it’s armament from six to,four .50 caliber machine guns but increasing the total amount of ammunition and modified the tail. This version was called FM-2 Wildcat.

      The P40 & F4f started production in 1941. WWII started September 3, 1939.

@kentl7228 Wikipedia IS THE LAST PLACE I get information from! Try reputable websites to do any research. Just a suggestion.
