I had the same issue. I tried this as per a posted response below and it worked perfectly. Remove battery; Press every button in sequence three times (1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3...etc); Replace battery; Kepad function was perfectly restored.
After taking the battery out try just pressing one of the buttons that still beeps. Then replace the battery. Works for me every time....maybe will save you from carpel tunnel😉
Tried taking out the battery, pushing each buttons twice including special characters, waited a few minutes, then all of the buttons didn’t work. About to give up and then decided to take out the battery again, press each button three times each including special characters, waited a few minutes, and it worked! Thank you, thank you! Be patient if it didn’t work the first time : )

I had the exact same trouble. I called their tech support and got help right away. Real nice guy, wish I had his name to pass on. He had me remove the battery, press each number twice starting with the number one to include the special characters, then wait 2 minutes. That resolved the problem.

My keypad EXACT same issue, top half quit working. I talked to someone there, they sent a new keypad, and I installed it. The big problem then happened. After installing the keypad I tested it with the door open, twice. Then with door closed, worked fine. Then put door panel back on the rear of the door... then the door no longer worked, could not get the bolts to disengage. It was stuck, including using the key. Had to have a safe company drill into my door, $175 in cost an 1/2" hole in my door. Turns out the screws that hold the back panel on are slightly too long, and the screw hit the vertical bar that the 3 bolts are attached to, so the mechanism could not move. If you end up replacing the keypad and take the door panel off, to replace the inner "motherboard" be SURE to test the door lock mechanism with the back panel attached WITH THE DOOR OPEN, to verify the screws holding the back panel in place are NOT interfering with the locking mechanism.
Not all heros wear capes! Its works, pull the battery and hit one of the keys that works. You basically have to hit each button a couple times so you suck all the power out of the keypad. This also worked on a lap top i had years ago. Couldnt get it to boot up. Pulled the battery amd held the power button for 15 seconds, it worked good after that.

Same exact thing... top buttons quit working. Took dial off, battery out and pushed buttons 3 times each in order..battery back in and dial back on...bingo..works fine...wth... thank you
Take the keypad off, remove the battery, press some keys until you hear a beep (even though battery is out), replace the battery. This works for me every time and I know that I just have to press the "0" key with battery out.
I have a Winchester keypad lock safe and the top two rows aren't working either and I don't have a key option just the keypad so I'm panicking trying to figure out what to do
Anyone have a clue how to remove the door on the stack on safe? I watched another video on this channel about door removal, but it didn’t show how the door was actually removed. It showed removing the plugs on the hinges, but not the pins or whatever holds the door on. Thanks for any help as I need to move my safe.
Vance. Don’t know if this will help, but try it. I have my safe for almost twenty years and recently some numbers quit working. I too was told to disconnect the battery, then push each number five times, ( 11111,22222, etc. Inc. the zero. Then replace the battery. It worked and lock works great again. Apparently it Is static electricity that builds in pad due to humidity, floor material like carpet, etc. good luck
James Gallegos after attempting to contact stack on they were not very receptive to helping. I found an FAQ on their site that specifically addressed this issue. Long story short, I popped off the keypad and replaced the battery. That did not fix the issue. I was able to find my emergency key. I unlocked the safe and left it unlocked for a while. I went back a couple days later and the keypad mysteriously started working again. I have not had the problem since. I’m not sure if it was somehow reset with my using the key or leaving the door opened. Still a mystery.

Buttons were working. Enter code and it would not unlock. Used key to open it and was going to change pass code but not the keypad not responding. Changed battery and still nothing
@@jaredpassey9565 it basically resolved itself I used the key for about 2 to 3 days and just held the button in on the inside of the door and reprogram the code been working great ever since

Sounds similar to my issue so I'll check that but mine opens with the key🤔

Ever fix this issue? Mine is doing the same thing. Intermittently the buttons stop working then start working again.

I'm sure I won't get a response either but mine won't open even when I put in the correct code. The code reset isn't working & it's not the battery🤔

I have been experiencing the same thing still have not found a way to fix it, i just unplug it and replug it after a few hours.
Take the battery out, mash a key that still beeps, put battery back.....works for me every time.

This just happened to me today, first two rows still aren't working. Their phone number said not in service, hopefully it clears up on its own

I got a new keypad from them and it’s even worse than the old one.
