    Drill into brick not mortar.

    Surely that has to be the worst position to mount the safe? Lots of room around to swing a hammer at it, get a pry bar behind it or other implement? It should be also fixed to the floor where possible and mounted in a low corner.

      Hi Ste, thank you for your feedback, we'll pass it on to the right team. NM

    I think in the end don't put anything in the safe but make it a decoy. Put your stuff in the attic under the insulation. Who's going there to look for valuables?

    Would it not be better to drill into brick than the mortar.

    I don't have masonry in my house, would using hefty anchors and bolts into studs be a secure option?

      True! Why post an install video and then NOT show the screw installation?

  • @annemoebes1258
    @annemoebes1258 3 года назад +1

    i appreciate your video but here are some things that would be helpful; what size drill bit are you using? what do you mean by "sleeve"?

    • @martinesse4830
      @martinesse4830 3 года назад +1

      The sleeve is used so the bolts are bolted into them. Can't just drill a hole and put a bolt in.

    3:00 Write your code in a SAFE place...

  • @BurtBowers
    @BurtBowers 2 года назад +3

    A safe is suppose to be completely hidden in a place undetectable to a thief that comes into a home, biggest mistake is to display a safe anywhere in a home that would automatically draw any thief to it once its been detected..

    • @leleg2225
      @leleg2225 2 года назад

      And he also mounted it at the height of his chest, to ease the thiefs job too ahahaha, you're right

    • @sass2523
      @sass2523 Год назад

      No? That’s defeats the purpose it’s only designed to slow them down. Some you can’t hide as they’re too big

  • @flyer7773

    He says not to mount to wood, that's totally impractical advice if there isn't any brick around to mount to!

    Wait is he drilling into mortar between bricks 😂def poor installation.
    I’ve read if your safe walls even back rear of safe aren’t minimum 1/4 inch thick and door 1/2 inch minimum thick then it can’t really be classed as a safe it’s more a strong box for temporary securing things overnight than owt

    1) Don't buy this safe. Even attached to a wall, all you have to do to open it is smack it with your fist and turn the rotary knob at the same time...opens every time.
    2) If you do buy a safe this size, make sure it's not electrically operated.
    3) If you truly have valuables, including very important papers to keep safe, you should invest in a heavy safe that can't be carried away without an army of men and a fork lift.
    4) Don't listen to this guy. He bought an unsafe safe. That's like buying a jelly donut without the jelly.'
    5) Walmart sells these useless things for about 30 bucks. That's 30 bucks you could spend on 10 lottery tickets and become rich overnight.
    You're welcome.

      Nobody buys a safe this small with the intent to store anything of true value... You sir are a moron. This safe is intended for documents...

      @GetRealBaby 3 года назад

      @@F2PRunescapeFTW "tire value"? What's tire value? And what's with the "..." after the word "value" and after the word "documents"? You have demonstrated who the moron is here and it's...wait for it...it's you. Demand a refund on your Trump University degree. You should pass the fourth grade before commenting on RUclips, unless of course you enjoy humiliating yourself and proving you're a fool and a worn out, useless, laughable douchebag.

      The only shit you watch on RUclips is educational videos lol. You've got that RUclips degree huh? I'm gonna go ahead and just assume you're a 32 year old virgin living in your parents basement educating yourself on RUclips because your parents don't want the public to see you so you never got to leave the basement to go to school. This is where you've learned to argue about people's grammar online where grammar is probably the least relevant thing. Go watch some FOX News... Or did your parents cut the cable line to the basement?

    them little things are not safes.
    they are easy to break in even with a strong magnet or a tooth pick.
    if you can pick it up a place it under your are then bont buy it.
    get a safe that is a min of 190kg/418lb not even 3 people will move this away from the home
