- The day has finally arrived. It is the 17th July 2024 and our youngest son Ben is getting married to Rebecca at Ballymoney.
Here I am, early in the morning, at the surprisingly sunny, Gilnahirk/Braniel viewpoint, watching the planes fly in and out of George Best City airport, before going home to get suited and booted for our big day.
Tom, i think that's one of the clearest views you've videoed from that view point, brilliant great shot of the planes, so glad the weather was kind it makes a lot of difference especially for a wedding, and we hope you all had a jolly old time, you do surprise me not having your hair done i can just see you in a hair net and rollers,LOL.
Yes Chris you may be right in that clear view.
The problem is what hair? There are precious few left. Oh dear. I often look at myself in the mirror and think, what have I become? I hardly recognize myself.
The wedding day was absolutely fantastic. It was way way beyond our hopes and dreams.
i wasn't allowed ( by Tanya ) to distract myself, from the father of the groom, task in hand, so i didn't video anything! But maybe I'll be able to find something from someone who was there with a camera and put it up on RUclips.
Congratulations to Ben,and all the best for the two of them for the future 👏
Many thanks Andy. They flew out on their honeymoon this morning. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlewellan Hills.

Hi Andrew.
I'm glad I brought back a few memories for you of days gone by.
You are certainly going back a bit there. Others talk of Gibson's farm but I'm not sure of where it was exactly.
Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.

Hi SFTT. Many thanks for that. This is a video I did 8 years ago from the top of Ikea car park. I'm not sure if you can still get up here to film.
