In a tournament setting, time outs are inevitable. That’s how neck and neck tournament level play is. A casual player is rarely gonna encounter timeouts. It’s fine
@@deleanor9665 i think the fact the typical combo in 7 did 1/3 without walls and in 8 they do about 1/5-1/4 shows the aggression aspect of it is lacking
My guess is that it's the new slow mo on block effect on the rage art that screwed up his punish timing. I had a similar experience during the CBT. I know exactly what the punish is, and mashed it after blocking the rage art. But that few seconds of slow mo seems to not accept any inputs, so even though I mashed it, it didn't come out. I had to keep mashing after the slow mo ended.

The block stun is slightly different in T8. Likely Ayorichie just didn't press df2 quickly enough, as it's a really generous window in T7. Rage arts are still definitely punishable.
Not gonna lie after seeing such high level play already kinda ruins my confidence even thinking about playing this competitively, but...this game will be great in future tournaments 😮
This ain’t a good mindset. Personally, it fills me with hype as it shows a glimpse of what’s possible at the highest level with this game. With enough practice & time, absolutely anyone can reach the pinnacle, Tekken 7 literally proved this with the completely unexpected rise to the TOP from the previously unknown Pakistani players.
I don't know if it's only me , but i'm not liking this modernyassshit they made out of tekken . C'mon i was expecting 8 to looks more deadly and vicious and they just add glitters and sparkles to it . Maybe i'll start liking it afterwards but for now i'm fuckin dissappointed

He's just not used to the smaller window, and new block stun. In this game you have to punish immediately, or you won't get the launch.

Ive heard you can tone down the sparkle effects in settings. Looks fine to me, T7 also had sparkle stuff with custom characters
