I hate to point out issues, but I noticed that none of your pitbull clamps have had a couple thousandths removed from the top surface. What’s up with that? I compared yours to mine and almost all of mine have some nice shiny surfaces on top!
    ;)
Kidding aside, great video. And I’ve also done the leave a pitbull clamp loose and have it and the screw both, along with a nice end mill, sacrifice themselves to the CNC gods before!

Bill Strahan - Thanks for the comment Bill! I will work on those shiny spots for sure. And my clamp survived but the screw definitely sacrificed itself. 😂

1337BlueBird - Thanks for the feedback on the new designs. This batch of Ti I purchased from The Titanium Processing Center. I have also had good luck with FedTech when I needed some water jet cut. I bought a bunch last time so I have not looked for about a year. Good luck finding what you need. And be sure to specify saw cut if buying pieces like I did. One time they sheared my 2x5 blanks and warped them all.

How's your PM lathe been holding up? Any drawbacks and limitations you've come across so far?

Francis - The PM Lathe is holding up amazing. I still truly love this lathe and have not found any issues or drawbacks yet. Had one DRO issue when a chip got under the reader. But that is all. Runs like a dream. Thanks for the question.

Hope you’re doing all right maybe you’re feeling a little burnt out. I got a job as a CNC programmer doing one off work would be nice to call sometime.

@ElixirCNC - Congrats on the new gig. Happy to connect if you have a question about something, just hit the connect form on my website www.BladesIIB.com and you can share your number there. I have been a little slow on getting new content out. Lots of irons in the fire including busy day job. I have a couple of videos to edit and post, just need to find the time. Thanks for checking on me.

Looking good Bud! Where are you sourcing your titanium from? I've been having a hard time trying to find some in the sizes I need.

tdg911 - Thanks for the question - This last batch I purchased from the Titanium Processing Center, I have also purchased from FedTech, they had a better price on a small part I needed water jet cut. Good luck getting what you need, supply chains still have not recovered Post Covid from what I am seeing, can be a challenge.

IDEA Make a folding knife that can be thrown, it must be very strong, because its check must be throwing into a tree.

Not something I have ever thought of, I will have to give that some thought. Thanks for the comment.
