They did, it's just shitty journalism. It was a white flight attendant who said there was a body odor so they went up and down the aisle and picked out 8 random black dudes lol.
I've flown several times, and I've been exposed to some horrible odors. I've never seen them escort any of these people off the plane. 😮

1) American Airlines actually is hunting black men or
2) 3 black men as a group intentionally made themselves smell so bad as to get tossed off (and then sue the airline)?

I'm actually thinking of avoiding AA now for the opposite reason.... because after this lawsuit they won't do anything about on-plane odors anymore lol
American had a NAACP civil rights watch list report against them in 2017 for racial discrimination and American promised to police their racist behavior low and behold their back to their same old tricks again. The evidence of racism is so overwhelming in this case American will have to end up settling with these passengers. The flight crew and those who mishandled this should expect to be canned.

Is/was it bad body odor or marijuana? I know that the smell of that stuff is god awful and very offensive to me personally so who’s to say it wasn’t that smell as opposed to not bathing bo? It’s strange though that all were black. I’m black and know for sure I have damn good hygiene and don’t omit a bad odor. I also shower 2-3x a day daily bc I live in hot ass Houston and i gym/run a lot so I shower I’m the morning every morning and after the gym and usually right before bed

The flight attendant should be fired. Working for the airline industry, I have seen lately that the once flight attendants are no more. They complain about any and everything and just don't have what it takes to deal with people. To them that job was suppose to be fun and traveling. There has been a shift and now the flight attendants are dealing with way more than they bargained for. Yes get him or her out of there!! You must know how to make reasonable decisions. The world of today has changed. Up front when being interviewed there must be some tough questions and scenarios put out there for the correct answers or they are not a go! I have been an agent for 24 years and have had many flight attendants tell me "I could not do what you are doing". Ha, I would not do what you are doing for many reasons and 1 of them is being in my own bed every night!!
