Pop Thomas woah u play since 2018????? Wow good job woww , very clever u found this useless, wow im impressed🙄🙄🙄 clearly this for those strted played this for few months
You are a great teacher. I've been playing R:SL for months and have been making a lot of these mistakes. Guess it's time for me to do some repair work on my champs.
Hey, Ash. Thanks for putting out all these helpful videos! I'm a relatively new player (~3 weeks), and I'm hooked. However, I admittedly have a steep learning curve; I've found myself watching (and rewatching) all your vids to soak up as much info as I can. One of the things that I am slightly confused on is why attack percentage isn't a higher priority stat for attack-based champions. Based on my rudimentary understanding, you'd want to equip an attack-based champ with as much offense as possible to maximize its potential. I've heard other people make the claim that defense is "useless" on these champs and that their stats are purely based on their attack stats. Gear set-up is something I'm clearly lacking some knowledge on, so I'll continue to dive into your videos. Please keep them coming, and thanks!
I know you are a big youtuber and you probably hear this alot and know this already, but i really just wanted to say that i appreciate how crisp and professional your videos are , even though they still seem personal.
It's in comparision to other gears you've selected. It shows that if you equip another gear in the place of already eqipped one, the stats decrease by that figure.
I'm still in the early game. There is something else to note, I make a LOT of progress on occasion from upgrading "useless" things, trying for the good stuff of course, but winning XP Boost, and gems, energy, etc., from the events and tournaments. It is worth it at this stage to "go for it" in some contrast to the conventional and good wisdom here. As you are farming campaign 12.x you get tons of 5 star "curing" gear. Eventually you do not want this gear... however... to begin with, 5 star curing gear with all the right stats on it beats most of the other gear with 4 star and wrong stats on it. -...
Personally, I’m still starting out, still building up my team and I’m making due with whatever I get while keeping an eye out for anything new. Also, silver is a hard luxury and often blow it faster then I get it.
Low on Silver is a common experience. Especially when you're working on multiple champs at a time. Good farming spots are the highest campaign chapter shield drop levels up to brutal mode. Shields are worth a little more than any other artifact, later game Spider's Den is the best for gaining silver if you're willing to sell the accessories.
You should point out that stat priority depends on which stat the champion uses for their abilities. Also do not waste money to remove a subpar piece of gear. Just destroy it and save your silver for upgrading.
I made that accuracy mistake in the beginning, too. Simple rule: Skills that only manipulate the own team (including skills that convert part of the damage dealt to the enemy to heal or shield the own team) don't need accuracy. Any skill THAT MANIPULATES YOUR ENEMIES IN ANY WAY other than just doing plain damage needs accuracy to succeed unless the skill explicitely states that the debuff cannot be resisted. This isn't limited to debuffs that would appear as an ongoing effekt, but also includes lowering or stealing turn meter, removing or stealing buffs, reducing buff duration or increasing cooldown time.
I agree but faction wars just seem like a way for you to have to build up more champions just to use for it im like why build up champions just for it im working on getting my first 6 star f2p thats a bit of work there im building up uncommons to 5 stars
Quick note on attack percent gloves. Bomb layers if u use them (I personally dont) but those champs would be the only ones who benefit from attack percentage gloves. Plus it makes more sense coincidently than "champions who can't crit" 🤔
Thanks for the videos. I just started playing Raid last night, your videos are very helpful sir. I picked Galek as my starting champion. But now i watched your video make me want to restart and picked Kale instead..lol. I managed to get Ultimate Galek from one of my shards, maybe just keep playing this account. Anyway, thanks for the good work sir, you rock!
Ash I would disagree with one attack % point, it'll depend on what you are using the champ for. I have Bellower as my campaign farmer and only use him as my campaign farmer. When I made this move I took off his speed boots and put attack % boots, attack % chest, crit rate gauntlets and crit damage amulet. This is what moved him to a 7 to 8 second farmer. Anywhere else in the game I agree, attack % is usually garbage.
Attack Percentage gauntlets are niche, but EXCELLENT for Bomb champions, crit and crit damage doesn't apply to bombs. Bombs scale from attack damage and attack multipliers.
My current Robar used a set of Daze (because it’s my only legendary artifacts set and I got good rolls) and I have a set of extra turn stuff (because then I can use the debuffs then use my boosted ability). But I am a bit lost from there, I see a lot of people using blue items with high stars and then some low star legendaries and i don’t understand why wouldn’t you just use legendaries if possible? What sets am I looking for and what can I just scrap?
hi ash i know your probably super busy with other raid stuff, im mid game maybe a bit further. would you consider keeping 4 star gear at all. like if they had decent substats. i kind sell all my 4 star gear. i dont want to invest as the end result will never be as good as 5 or 6 star
O.O i didn't know the cost to remove is part of upgrading it while it's equipped :\ only been playing for a couple weeks, glad i came across this info at least now.
Hey Ash! Thanks for this video. I have a question though, do you think having a team that is all void is better than a team that is a mix of everything? Do you have a video explaining the weaknesses and strengths of each affinity?

For Epics and Rares - specially Rares that CAN do this - Would you have "multiple" Champions (I just got my second Warmaiden, for example) and plan on keeping her, so I can "specialize" one build for Arena, and the other for Campaign advancement :P is this viable? Should I "food" the secondary to that "mail" rare/epic...
6:50 i disagree with this classification. Different classes need different stats. Why would you ever need accuracy for Apothecary? Or a crit for for Madame Serris? You will never need crit for any not-DD. You will never need acc for not-controller. You will always need def% and hp%, but it crucial only for tanks, but you will always sacrifice it for att% + crit for an attacker-DD. Spd is the only universal stat. All other stats depends from set and hero.
I read somewhere that the main multiplier for any attack will always be the first one listed. In this case the Mountain King has HP first, so that would be the priority.
Thanks, thats so obvious now that you mention it. I went and looked at my champs and was like "Ooooooh, that makes sense". I swear the comments are better than the video XD.
I have a LOT of trouble letting go of the sets. I'm paranoid that I'll have perfect matches strewn across the different champions I actually use, and wouldn't even realize how great it would be if they'd swapped.
This was very helpful, thank you. Been playing for a month or so, but have made many mistakes that I am trying to correct. Your videos have become my go to. THANKS!
Atk amulets and atk% gauntlets are what you want for bombers. Def% or HP% can be arguable for a champ that is all heal/buffs and no offensive capacities whatsoever (not very often tbh). Flat atk def hp are always trash, and that’s a bit sad they don’t even have a niche
You forgot to mention that attack% gloves do have a niche use when it comes to bomb champions. Bombs scale solely of your attack rating so if you wanted to maximize bomb damage attack gloves would be the way to do it.
I've been playing since last 50 days and half of these one I realized late into the game and had to learn by experience :/ ....Wish I had seen guides like these befoe getting fully into the game !
The set thing is something I know many content creator's don't sweat over, but I still feel bound by it,even though I probably have better stats in other gear, esp lifesteal I just can't do without atm,but I'm starting to branch out,I have seneschal who I'm trying to regear for cb to check how his leech works for him,and 2 other champs that aren't in ls. Thanks ash. Hang on ash quick question, near the end you said coldheart and another need accuracy, yet on both it never stated needing to place it by x%,it stated it would as I read that,is that another mistake by plarium in how they write things,or was it a bad example champion just? Really need clarification on that,ty.
I dont know where this would fall, but pay attention to which artifacts youre putting on champions. I put boots on a champions, just to realize I wanted another pair of boots, just to realize that the boots I really needed were on another champion all together. 100K in removal fees, wasted. 100K is a lot of upgrade chances. I'm always broke and 12-3 will often only drop 3 * shields most of the time.
Just imagine if they added a new dungeon where you get artifact ascension materials so you can ascend your gears.., that would be dope asf. Also to note I’m hoping they add a new race of like angelic/divine heroes that have holy light coming off of them like damn they would look sick right..?
Love this video, keep hoping you will do a video on Lanakis the Chosen, just pulled her and there is virtually no info out there. If you have covered her in the past please link me to the vid where you do!!
Question, if you are running Clan boss. Doesn't have sets be recommended for it? or should it follow the rule of if you have better gear use it even if isn't part of the set?
Go with what gives you the most advantage. Maybe an off-set piece offers more of the same bonus from good sub-stat rolls. Maybe it's a higher rank piece, so the stat bonuses scale better. Maybe it just offers a set of stats more valuable than whatever the set bonus is to the champ you need it for. You just have to weigh priorities. Basically, sacrifice set bonuses, if needed, to get your champ where you want them. Not the other way around.
How does your mountain king have 87xxx power without a full 6 star set? What determines the power? How strong the abilities become via set bonus increases to its damage?
Hi Ash, tnx for all your videos... but tell me something - I see that you are not focusing on building SETS but you have rather mixed artifacts with great stats... it is this more important than making complete sets?

Hi Ash great vid, just got my first coldheart, she's lvl 40, got a acc chest piece on her lvl16 96 acc. Should i get her to 50 before using her for spiders and should i hope for defense jewellery for her?? I keep getting ogryn tribe jewellery for some reason. :-/
Omg, I have been playing for almost 3 months, I have a lv 60 miscreated mosnter, and apothecary but i took all the wrong equipment to lv 16. I wish i watched this video before UHhhhhhh
Been playing a year and my biggest problem is I can't progress further because I don't either know how to equip champions or my luck is just so bad and I get a lot of flat stat mid level gear or the substats go to the wrong thing
Accuracy can be useless if a champion has no debuffs in his talents... so besides flat stats, accuracy is a 50/50 nice to have or total useless stat depending on a champion. Resistance is never too bad, since it will reduce the chance of debuffs landing on your own people. Although in Endgame it might be, that not many enemies will attack you anyway, then in that specific Dungeons it might become useless in absolut endgame, but for arena? Other Players can always be faster than you, so i would not be too mad about some resistance here and there.
Thanks for this info... if only I had watched it 2 months ago. Even then, it's way too expensive to level/swap gear. If I wanted to get my gear all optimized on my most used characters, I'd probably need about 500 mil silver lol.
It's not different. You get more advantage from increasing crits than struggling to increase att% past ~+150%. But if you take the same champ, and drop him in the arena, you can't get CrD% boots and chest. So the next best thing is att%, preferably with crit subs.

Thanks, great one!
Wow. This vid is 2 yrs old and has a TON of good info. Ash, we need an updated version of this.
as a player whos been plaing for a month this was sooo useful would like more videos like this.

6:33 what does the -416 in red total stats bottom left mean?
It's in comparision to other gears you've selected. It shows that if you equip another gear in the place of already eqipped one, the stats decrease by that figure.
Thanks for the awesome video! I have found that with the new filter system, selling bad gear is 100 times easier!
Wow! I have been losing so much coin equipping items before I upgrade them but now I know and I am so grateful for this video thank you!
That was the most helpful video I have found on this game, thank you.

great video dude
when u get attack boots u just loose more, waht brings attack when ur nuker isnt alive anymore but the overall story is true: dont stick to set bonus
What?
How do you fuse?
Very useful info, thank you
Awesome advice, thank you
Hi Ash, tnx for all your videos... but tell me something - I see that you are not focusing on building SETS but you have rather mixed artifacts with great stats... it is this more important than making complete sets?
Wow, wow, nice man. this was so helpful .the best so far.
what kind of emulator do you use? your game is so smooth. I have a 1660Ti and using nox, but it isnt that smooth..
I tend to believe that very low Def champs benefit more from HP% than Def%. I don't value %s, when they're based on a very small #.
But I do base all my debuffs on my skittles, because I thinks it's important to taste the rainbow.😁
What's your intro song?
Bravo, great content! keep the good work! my new best raid youtuber!

Thanks for this info... if only I had watched it 2 months ago. Even then, it's way too expensive to level/swap gear. If I wanted to get my gear all optimized on my most used characters, I'd probably need about 500 mil silver lol.
I have some ridiculous stats on my Ch because of relentless. I love them
Didnt you recently put out a video saying 2.5x your base attack is as high as you want to go? Is that different in arena?
It's not different. You get more advantage from increasing crits than struggling to increase att% past ~+150%. But if you take the same champ, and drop him in the arena, you can't get CrD% boots and chest. So the next best thing is att%, preferably with crit subs.
