I just noticed Captain Kalaw doesn't have any exclusive scene with the main characters. Askal has a scene with Neera, Aaa with Milla, Carol with Cory, but nothing for Captain Kalaw.
Hmmm... I think if they had the plan to have it, and I feel like it was with Spade... Since Spoiler.... In the concept art gallery when you complete the museum, there you see that Spade was going to be playable, but again it was canceled just like in the previous game with his beta version of him, I feel like he would be involved with Captain Kalaw since he doesn't I know... Possibly the Captain I'm not sure, it could have been one of the Red Scarfs ohh maybe he was Spade's teacher, ohh he took control of the organization from him when he was very young leaving everything & so he could feel again admiration, he made a deal with Zao ohh he changed his identity to be the "hero" and champion of the Battlesphere, and that in the end he became a jester and not being a true hero like Neera ohh General Gong, I look for a way to achieve it . I think it would be their interaction between them 2 would be on the Sky Bridge while he was stealing from Syntax and there they confront each other (it can be justified so that the girls could capture Kalaw watching him live on his broadcast, and for more justification in the Battlesphere challenges he lost purposely the last challenge in order to humiliate how low his dignity fell. Hopefully I hope I'm right, otherwise it doesn't matter, I just imagine that would be xD
So, plan on getting the true ending next or playthrough all the other characters normal endings and then get the true ending? Oh, and any chance the next character you play is milla or are you going in "order"?
Not gonna lie I actually like this normal ending more The true ending about being love interest kinda wasn't for me and felt last minute imo. Still enjoyed it for what it was tho
I really felt sorry for those who suffered how poorly designed Sonic Superstar's boss fights really is especially the main game's final battle against Robotnik & Trip Story's goddamn giant mech of Fang. Not even comparable to Merga's fight here in this video. It was baffling that 2D Sonic games was meant to be for children yet Superstar's boss fights was not designed the way it should be due to their tediousness & frustration especially Fang's giant mech being glitchy as hell & most attacks are unintentionally instantkill even with rings. Instantkill was never a good idea for a boss fights. Even if Superstars has no lives, that doesn't excuse how tedious & shitty the fight battles against Robotnik & Fang really is. It's one of those Atrocious Gameplay design that should not be at a launch date like this. Sega failed to understand what boss fights should be in terms of pacing & fairness. Something that GalaxyTrail did it so much better with the boss fight of Merga here in this video. When not counting the Rainbow S Rank & especially the non-canon bad ending, it's like the opposite of Sonic Superstar's. While you have to go through 6 phases, at least this is a boss level instead of a stage level & there's 2 checkpoints. One after the first 3 phases, & one after the next 2 phases. The "semi-final boss fight" against Merga at least have a much better pacing, the difficulty knows the meaning of fair, & because Freedom Planet 2's great storytelling & voice acting, it felt a lot more impactful. Something that the giant mech of Robotnik & Fang failed miserably.
is it me or the final boss feels too easy? There are six phases by Merga but i don't have much problems dealing with all her attacks. Comparing to Brevon which is much harder, i did not retry many times against Merga. Yes i know there is a TLB after this but given how the game shaped up to this point, it feels a little anticlimatic
Hm, well there is a true ending besides the endings for all the characters. Some people are saying that they prefer this ending to the true ending though.

For sure, normal ending is infinitely better. The true ending doesn't make any sense since Merga say hate all earth dragons the entire game
