Good review and great final thoughts. Yep the shake down run went as expected. So what you broke a bolt on the shock and the wing was being a wheelie bar. Stuff happens in the basher world. Them minor things can be fixed and the addition of a wheel bar is in order. As far as the steering issue my solution is to Spektrum it with AVC and replace the servo if necessary. I need it to turn more and when I want it to turn not when it wants to turn. Out of the box the over all score in my book was a 7.5 only because of the 62 mph speed run. On 6s this is a true beast. Taming this beast is the trick. Great video and look forward to seeing if you can get it drivable on 6s.
It happens and yes its minor just a quick fix if I had the parts on hand I would have had more footage of me running it. Its the first run I will get it dialed in and it will be amazing thank you for the support
Stick with it bro, you will come full circle after some tweaks & more runs, all RCs behave differently. I brought this in roller flavour & yet to drop electronics in it, then the fun will begin, I always watch other people’s videos & learn by their misfortunes & i have learnt a lot from watching your video my friend, Stay Safe, Looking forward to your next video mate 🙏🏻🤜🏼🤛🏼
Thank you for the kind words and support. Its one heck of an r.c. lots of power I will get it dialed in and running smooth like you said they all act differently. Some videos out there is like yours a roller totally different set up so thats why some channels the cars act way different plus the style of driving I am not into big air I like jumps but not super high which is what I think this is really tuned for yeah I have a few things to try and I think it will be absolutely amazing just waiting on the parts should be here in a few days then it will be back
Great job on the video buddy , I will say the servo is weak for two reasons , did you turn up the BEC in the esc from 6v to 7.4v and also out of the box I’ve noticed and covered in a upcoming video that the servo saver is quite loose . As you noticed the wing will come out I used some M3 washers behind the screws to spread the load this will stop them coming out . Also wheels ballooning if you cover the vent holes on the wheels they will ballon a lot better . As for battery straps I’ve put some 300mm straps in mine and added a third to help with 6s configuration. The sweet spot for this RC is most definitely 4s a lot more fun to drive normally. 6s is for big sends and flipping in my opinion. A few little teething problems and this truck is a weapon 🚀🚀🚀🚀🤜 Keep up the awesome work brother . Chris 🤙🚀🤜🛞👊🔥🤩
Thank you very much. That is my next step is to turn the power up on the servo and check the servo saver all good points. I also put washers on the wing lol I hope it will help. I am going to dial down the punch hopefully it will tame it a bit like you said for big air lots of rotation you probably want that and thanks for the tip on the tires I will be doing that yeah its a dream on 4s just not as powerful I shouldnt have tried the back flip I figured grass is safe that was wrong lol. Appreciate the support I will be tuning the diffs like you said.
I owned a TC Muraco and after my experience with that plus with what you shared, no, I wont get one again. Comparing it to the Talion exb it was a poor mans version of it. I had the same steering issues, plus the tires ripped apart apart after just a few runs. The radio was terrible however it ran better connected to the dx3. No telemetry data, a motor that easily overheats, bad tires and radio, no waterproof receiver box. Plus, the only way you can accesa those top speeds if you change the pinion to 46 mm. They need to up their game if they expect too take on Arrma and Traxxas.
Hey. I just got that car. And had the same issue where the car is incontrollable. I think it ir the receiver and remote. It has a delay in the response. I ordered a spektrum receiver and I will pair it to my DX5. I bet that will solve the issue.
Its the timing in the esc it spools up so fast its a bit to Control in the air. Also the brake is fine on the ground but will nose it down fast it takes some getting used to
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife man the steering scenerio is also very weird my servo perform really really good for rtr car especially compare it to arrma's stuff
It’s either a hit or miss with the Kagama esp with delay and the servo. Deff getting it when it gets warmer, think I’ll go with the roller and do my own electronics.
Bro, I’ll be honest… that particular RC and you just don’t jive… everybody has RC’s like that. Other people love them and they can drive the daylights out of them without even a crash… but for some people it’s just the opposite… this is one of them times😳… in my opinion
I am far from the only one that finds it difficult on 6s now if I was 30 plus feet in the air with more time to correct than it would be less of a problem its to easy when you have more time I doubt they would have the control if it was less of a jump. To me if I want to be that high I will take the rc jet out. Nobody does not have a crash and almost everyone has lost the rear wing. I still have settings to adjust so dont be so quick to judge.
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife I can’t EVER get my Kraton to act right no matter what I do… but my son can drive it like a maniac and never break anything… I just see me with my Kraton when I see you with the Kagama… I could be wrong, that’s been known to happen 😳, so, we’ll see how you and that thing get along in the future…
which one do you have? I have all 3 I really like the 6s its dang near a plane it flys so easily at least for me lol. I think they all drive well the 4s is probably the most durable 6s is so fast and fun the 8s is a beast but heavy I keep ending up with a bent axle I feel like dropping the punch down is going to be a big help I was headed down the road with some speed it was crazy how fast it still pulled the front end up lots of power with a little tweak of the punch should get it better if not I will try a new radio system see if its smoother. I also was told by another channel the servo savers on these tend to be loose and how to tighten it so I need to take a look at that because it was not getting a full turn unless I picked it up that will be an easy fix that and turning the servo voltage up I like to try the cars out of the box some people tune it right away it will be back I think it will be a good return @@RC-Closer1313
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife I have the 6s Keaton… what’s real funny is I can drive my totally modded out 6s Notorious like a freakin’ pro!! My son can drive it to save his life!! It’s like that with several of my RC’s… some I can drive and some I just cuss at and keep fixing what I break😳!
they all handle and behave differently I have the hardest time getting my Sledge to land right I noticed Traxxas is a little bit slower and not as punchy on the throttle where the Arrma comes on fast but is not bad I usually turn the punch up or leave it be but it depends on the remote too like my 4s Kraton was a bit slow to react once I bound it to the dx5 that went away with all cars on that they all kind of act the same The Kagama on 6s just comes on too strong for me its over rotating where I want i ton 4s it was smooth until I tried to back flip I thought it was high enough I shouldn't have tried on lesser power. @@RC-Closer1313

Shock stand off bolts snapping is a common problem on Corally's, along with wing mounts.
