You can't turn the volume down on those. You need headphones with the volume control button.

I prefer watching Live Over-the-Air TV programming, but need to do so with headphones to avoid interfering with the audio coming from a TV in another room. Do TVs that run FireTV OS (not FireTV sticks) transmit the Live TV audio received over the air (that is, ASTC or cable) to a paired Bluetooth headset? How good is lip sync/latency?

We have turtle beach wireless headphones which my hard-of-hearing husband wears, but if we watch amazon channel, utube, Roku, or anything with our Roku devise - the headphones are still transcribing a tv channel. How would we pair to the Roku Stick? I still would want to hear too from the sound bar.

You can't turn down the volume with airpods. You need headphones that have volume adjustment control button on it.
I was debating if we should get headphones like this. Because my wife sometimes goes to bed and wants to watch her ID CHANNEL when I have to get up earlier than her :) I'll make her wear the headphones :)

Thanks, Bluetooth 5.0 has really upgraded the specs from 4.0 and aptx feature fixes audio lag issues.
@@TampaTec YES, your video opened my eyes to the advancement of Bluetooth (5.0). We tried a headphone set years ago, I think it was wifi or something and was really clumsy. You had to plug a base unit physically into your TV and then the base unit would connect the sound wirelessly to the headset. This is much easier :) I know you've opened a lot of eyes to this newer version of a bluetooth 5.0 headset.

Hey @tampatec I’ve tried pairing my Powerbeats 3 and Beats Solo 3 to my Amazon fire tv and the tv is not picking up the headsets. I made sure they were in pairing mode, I can discover the devices with a phone but the fire tv isn’t picking them up. Do you have any suggestions? The Beats headphones should be compatible right?

I had the same problem and I had given up so I went to turn off the beats headset off and pushed down the button to shut it off.... and when I thought it was off... the blinking lights went from 5 to 0- I saw it on my tv- it picked it up finally- and only then was I able to pair them. so maybe give that a try

What if you don't have Blue tooth. It was recommended to me not to use bluetooth. So I bought the Sennheiser wireless headphones and they cost double than the bluetooth and suppose to be better but way more difficult to get it connected to my Fire TV built in
