- Hungry Beach in the Hawkesbury River, just West of Broken Bay in northern Sydney, Australia.
A blustery day, but well worth the effort to go dinghy cruising.
If you live in the area, check out Raid Sydney on Facebook
Kingfisher is a 1960's era timber Heron class dinghy.

Awesome sailing! Thanks for sharing!
Nice one! Glad you got out.
Discovered your videos last week and really enjoying them over here in the grey and gloomy UK winter! Loved the tour of your boat. I've got a similar sized vessel, a Tideway 12 and am just finishing off my tent, looking forward to Spring
Glad you like them Mike. Interestingly our summer is grey and gloomy this year - La Nina weather system means we are constantly wet. Haven’t seen blue sky since October! Not complaining, its still warm. Good luck with your tent.

Looks like a pleasant day. Often having borderline weather keeps the crowds away and allows for a more peaceful experience.
Agree completely. You also learn how to handle more robust conditions.
Thanks for your comment.

Love the shots of bailing. hehe. Gary in Japan.
The bigger boats went out in significant swell and wind. They got plenty wet!

Thanks Josh, another excellent video! I often find 'suboptimal' weather produces the most enjoyable sailing.
Thanks Tony. Yes, I didn’t have to deal with jetskis yesterday! Quite peaceful and exciting at the same time. Take care,
Josh
Awesome! But you made an error… it’s Kingfisher, The Heron, not Kingfisher, the heron… hehe
She is far too legendary to neglect capitalisation.
Thanks Holly!
