    Cosmetologist here, you’re supposed to shampoo twice. Shampoo is not supposed to suds the first round. Little goes a very long ways. Wet hair, shampoo. It won’t suds. That’s the shampoo breaking up the debris, oil and product in your hair. Shampoo twice. Little goes a long ways again. The second shampoo I promise it WILL suds as long as you scrubbed well the first shampoo. Than you can condition and go on with your routine! We were taught in school that most people use WAYYYYYY more shampoo than necessary because they expect it to suds on the first shampoo when it’s not intended to do that! Please try this and see how it works for you! :)

      Thank you this video is very old. I was just in the early stages of learning about haircare. I've since become a licensed cosmetologist as well and I agree with you 100%

    I'm white so my hair is definitely different from yours so your reviews don't necessarily help me, so when i say that i stuck around for your personality, i really mean it. you were honest about the products, you showed how they work on your hair type, and anyone looking for products that work with natural hair will probably benefit greatly from your videos. keep up the great work and the wonderful attitude!

    Randomly ran across their products and picked up the re-hydrating clay mask in Bed, Bath and Beyond. Yours is one of VERY few that popped up with natural hair😬 I’ll see how it works

    I love this brand I've only been using it for about two weeks but ever since I've started using it my hair has been less damaged and when I wash my hair it doesn't damage my hair or make it super squeaky clean like most drugstores shampoos and the conditioner is great it's hydrating but it's so thick that it takes so long to get some to come out but than is not relevant!

    You are really making me want to go back natural. Your hair is so beautiful. I was considering using this line, yet I have never really seen any naturals use it. Thanks so much for the review!!

    I loved your video. Found it to be very informative. I was considering buying the I shampoo and ultra balm but wanted an honest opinion before making that price plunge. After seeing how well the products performed in your demonstration I am definitely going to buy them. Thank you. Great demonstration video.

    I've been using Biloage for the last 7 years,it started with my relaxer, my hair dresser was white...I love the Ultra!!! It is the bomb. I've been staying away from the Shampoo and just using the conditioner. None of the other "naturals" have compared. Yea, what's up with no natural videos on this product? Is this product not considered organic?

  • @MaereMaid

    This is the first time I've seen one of your videos. I enjoyed it a lot. I've been using Biolage for a long time now, but the money! I have several feet of hair, which requires lots of cleaning, and a massive amount of moisture. It's very thick. I talked to my people at Sally, and moved over to their off-brand, as others have suggested. The shampoos and conditioners are half the price of Biolage, and so far I like it. Sulphates affect the sudsing aspect of shampoo, so that might have been the difference for you.

    Nice video. Thank you for the demo. When I used this line some years ago, my hair was the healthiest it has ever been. I just purchased the ulta conditioning balm and the hydrating shampoo from ulta...On sale 14.99....the large sizes.

    I love, love, love the Biolage Matrix Intensive Strengthening Masque! My hair is in hair heaven whenever I use it. It brings it back to life especially after using certain hair colour brands that tend to strip it of its oils. Love your hair, sideburns and goatee! Great review! A pump might work better for the spray gel:).

  • @Myimani

    You could always just get a pump bottle for like a dollar and pour your matrix in it. That's what I do for my shea moisture mist. That bottle sucks and my pump always breaks.

      its always going to be more expensive in a "big box" store because they are NOT authorized retailers and obtained that product through alternate means - it does NOT come from Matrix - Matrix does NOT guarantee any product that was not purchased in an actual salon or professional distributor such as SalonCentric stores - watch your salons for product specials and you can really get a good value on product you can be sure is 100% authentic :)

    • @jennyjenjen3087
      @jennyjenjen3087 8 лет назад

      Yeah, I agree Jacqui. Usually, department and drugstore professional products might not be authentic. They might be dilute, changed ingredients, are really old and probably not the real thing. You will be better getting off their website or at a salon. Sometimes certain salon have better deals if you are able to catch them.
