Gina, I just read the reply you made to Gloria Jean about your own learning process. This helped a great deal. I always thought that before you could be considered a jewelry maker one needed to go to a special school and receive a certificate or something. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing how you create these wonderful designs.
No, special school needed. There are so many resources available today, the Internet, magazines, books....just experiment, practice makes perfect. 😜😀thanks for the nice comment!
Hi Gina I just adore your magnificent creations. You are so talented and I am greatly inspired by everything you have done. I have been able to do some of the easier ones and am gradually working up. I am going to try to create this one too as it is the most beautiful piece I have ever seen. Gina thank you so very much for sharing your time and work with beaders all over the world. You have blessed us all. Kindest regards Jenny from Australia
Hi, so happy to hear that you are learning and that I have helped, that’s such a great honor. Thanks for watching and commenting, you too are appreciated 💚💗💕😁
I made this with all 4mm because that is what I had and couldn't wait to start. Took a little finagling but it is really pretty. So elegant! I'm going to make myself a ring with 8/o's and 3mm bicone beads.
Actually I think it is easier than most stitches, it's just sewing. Bigger pieces take time but it's not hard... Give it a try, I think you'll like it.
How Stunning! Both necklaces are beautiful! Another one to put on my ever growing list of projects to do! Nice tips on the beginning, it must save a bit of time. Thank you again for sharing your lovely talent! :)
Oh Gina that is so beautiful I wish I had just 1/4 the imagination and talent you do and of course the beads LOL thank you for all your wonderful tutorials I love watching them
LOL, I went to a bead bazaar yesterday and didn't buy one bead! Do you believe that? Ha! It was not a good bazaar, boring...must be bad when someone like me doesn't want to buy beads😜
hello from England! Made your lovely pendant, Gina. am so pleased with it, shame I can't show you on line. I think I have made most of what you put on utube and find they are always the right size and colour scheme suitable for me! I love your style of tutoring and always tune in!! Looking forward to next tut? Have a wonderful day, Marion xx
I have made two of your pendents so far and even made earrings to match. I just love this pendent. I made some adjustments to the size of cabs on the rose pendent. Larger so that I could make the earrings smaller... Wish I could send you photos...
I would love to see them, you can post it on my Gina’s Gem Creations Facebook page. Or join ‘Our Beaded Creations’ Facebook group, thats my beading group page.
My Mom's birthday is coming up soon. I've been trying to find a way to bezel an abalone shell. Thanks to you, I have an idea. I just need to tweak it so the bezel will be double sided. I want the focal to be seen from both sides. Thank you again for sharing your creations.
i actually like the size of fringe on the green one as the stone is smaller the fringe suits it the green one looks like something a young girl could wear wheras the purple looks more mature both are very beautifuly and you are a skilled instructor you make what you do look like childs play
I am glad you like it. I gave the green one to a cousin and the purple to my 94 year old aunt. They loved them and they do look good on them. I agree the purple one is more mature looking. Thanks for your nice comment!
wow beautiful labradorite cabochon and very intructive way to bezel it in raw, my cabochon is a bit bigger than yours is 18 x 25 mm. fire agate so i think it will be easier bezelling with the same beads number and type i suppose, thanks very much, never saw this method, hug and kisses
Gina you really are extremely talented,i LOVE this Stunning Necklace & both are amazing,i've ever made any Embroidery projects before but after i've watch your Marvelous tut. video well you gane me i will gave it a try so Thank you so much you explain so well that's gave me confident to try to make your Fantastic project xxx

Hi Gina, Thank you so much for this wonderful design, your detailed instructions and thoughtful helpful suggestions. This has been one of the most wonderful journeys me and my sewing needle have experienced. It took me awhile to finish but I enjoyed every step and wanted to really learn as I went. Thank you again for your designs, my list of projects grows everytime I watch your videos. How did you learn so much about "beading"? I just find it so interesting how you do all these designs. Thank you again. gj
+GloriaJean Farmer I am so happy to hear you are learning and enjoying the process of it. It's very nice to know that these videos are actually helpful and appreciated. That's all I wanted them to be. I learned, online, just like you are. I watched videos, learned stitches from books as well, and just played with the little bit of knowledge I gained until I began creating my own designs. I always used different sizes and types of beads than were called for in patterns as I wanted to use what I had in my stash instead of buying more beads before I could try something new. I think this practice helped me think through each design and learn to design my own pieces.
Absolutely beautiful, I can't wait to try it. I have looked at several other beading embroidery and yours is the simplest and best looking. My question is that I have a triangle shaped cabochon and wonder if they same design will work on that or if you have another method for that shape. Your videos are the first place I look when looking for something new to make. Thank you for sharing.
you will have to alter the pattern some to fit your cab, but you can use the same process to bezel it. thank you for the nice comments... I appreciate your kindness.
Gina - did you get a chance to look at the Chanel videos and all the jewelry on the models. I hope so. Sometimes yours is so close to what Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld are putting out there, it's amazing. Keep up all the great videos. I know I'm beading a lot because my fingers are starting to ache, but no matter. Thanks for everything!
Здравствуйте , дорогая Джина ! Очень красивый кулон ! Вас смотрят по всему миру .Очень прошу Вас указывать размеры материалов письменно на экране .Я по прежнему считаю Вас одним из лучших мастеров интернета .
G'Day My Wonderful Friend, Wow and double wow! What a beautiful necklaces.... they both are!!!!! I have been wondering about using rounds in my grand design around the cabochon. My doubt has gone and I like the look of how they add another way of dressing up the cabochon. IT's hard and very expensive for me to get the Ultra Suede and the Lacy Stiff Stuff but I have found that stiff felt and (a cousin I think the Suede) what they call "Butter Suede".... it does have a slight bias and it tends to fray a little if not sew straight a way. I have tested both on a sample and used many different size and shaped beads to edge them... and they work just fine. Have you found any part of me yet or am I still living in two worlds. Some thing very strange is happening as I sent you a message and then I got your reply (by Email) but the last time I check both of these had still not shown up...Spooky !!!!!!! You know me, I could go on and write a novel but lets just see if it likes the "Article" type version of my ramblings. Snow still....well then stay warm my little piece of Fabulous....plenty of hot soup and snuggles with Hunter....Blessings XXXXXOOOOO
Hi Chris, with embroidery you can do almost anything...with back, no matter what you use, offers a great canvas to creat on. I like using rounds and whatever else I can sew on. And no, I can't find you...even this comment ends abruptly...I don't get it.
+Gina's Gem Creations I only wrote 9 lines (which was very hard for me lol) and I thought that I was doing so well by limiting my writings. Did you get to the part where I said about not having the last comment from me and you printed on my end of the post? I read yours on your Email you sent me I hope that the airs waves wont have cyberspace break down dealing with 4 lines!!!! May be 3 next time.....
Ha! I don't know what up with this cyber space collision....I saw that my comment printed on top of your but the next time I looked it looked normal. You would think it could handle nine little lines...ha! Maybe we are not suppose to talk so much...LOL!
+Gina's Gem Creations Not even these cyberspace gremlins of the air ways can stop us from talking ..... it was ordained in the stars that I should entertain you with a novel and for you to enjoy reading it with your coffee. Never will these powers take away, stop or keep us from talking!!!!!!!!! Try as they might the bridge of Friendship is to strong to pull down......you have got me for ever my little bit of fabulous.......XXXOOOOO
