Great tutorial for the Hoh bo. Will use this video to (attempt to) tie a few different color variations. Also happy he didn't cut out the dubbing shenanigans...we are all human, even you Marcus.

I guess wire or shorter length of braid would keep the hook more in line with the body of the fly? Sounds like an excellent producer but that naked hook in the video looks off to my non fish brain.

What colors and size would work on a 3wt trout spey setup? Using a Redington 3wt Dually II with 275gr SA Scandi Lite Integrated line and Airflo floating to intermediate/slows sink polyleaders - Fishing The lower McKenzie and Upper WIllamette Rivers

I use a 275 OPST with the versi leaders. I find it will turn over a 2.5 to 3" fly with medium lead dumbell eyes pretty well. It is a skagit head so you may not go quite as heavy on the eyes.

A version with Blk/Olv/Orng would be good w/ a size 6 trailing hook. Blk/blu is always good too. 👍
