Subs are kinda off at points, they're saying iPod touch, not iPad, as before smartphones hit the market proper, there was the music player iPod touch, that basically looked like the smartphones did, but only for playing music. :P I still remember having a "walkman" for playing cassettes, though off-brand, not a Sony one, same with for CD, off-brand "discman" I did however finally get the brand one for playing MP3s, as I had a Sony Ericcsson phone that was also a MP3 player, so it was the official walkman phone, and I remember it being black with orange details, but that's still a smartphone, but older phones with buttons and all, still had a plug for earphones and the ability to add music to it.

me myself never use any apple product and I never heard any people use the word 'itouch' before lmao
BTW: It's iPod touch, not iPad touch. The iPod touch was basically a iPhone without cellular calling capability, meant as a music player.
At least Biboo knows Linkin Park and Blackberry. That is reassuring.
I get the feeling that was a pretty old memory for Biboo. The way it was sort of hazy is a lot like when you try to remember any childhood memory. She seems very young compared to most of Advent.
Ironically she’s not. Unless ppl think Biboo and Nerissa are lying about their own ages, they themselves have confirmed Biboo is older than Nerissa
If u know where to look with Nerissa then she is 26.
and Biboo would b about 28 given the info said.
Shiori is actually the very young one standing at around 22/23, if u knew her prev vtuber life.
If Biboo live in SEA region around 2008, its total make sense she doesn’t know or own Apple products.. unless you’re really rich or tech savvy.
And BB phones is really popular at that time. Also IRyS what wrong for being an android guy huh? Lol
I like how IRyS talks as if android users are like serial killers or something
I thought iryss gonna say Walkman or sometg..😂😂
Yea I've never had an Apple product and the walkman was great for music.
I remember the little silhouette commercials but I never actually owned any apple product. Was more into my DS
Nokia symbian s60 phone was the bomb for me during that time install customize themes, icons, animated wallpaper etc, mp3 player, avi player for movies, alot of games, emulators(gameboy etc.) and so much more like its an android phone during that era minus the playstore and during that time my classmates were so amazed from me playing alot of gameboy games and watching movies on my phone.
i had a psp slim and could listen to music fine on it lmao iris makes it seem as if anything besides ipod couldn't play music
I feel attacked watching this >:v
It all comes down to where you lived in that era. For me, it was mostly rural, so nobody had iPhones. The best you could find was iPod classics and nanos. Otherwise, everyone used cd walkmans and mp3 nuggets for music, and the normal phones were nokias or motorolas. Blackberry was a little fancier, but still, it was pretty barebones.
I remember my motorola razr fondly 🥲. I used it for everything, and it lasted a long ass time so it was great👍
Buff Biboo is so CUUUUUUUUTE😂
I could put music on my phone back in 2009.
Since 2004 with SonyErison
I miss the physical keyboard from my blackberry. Stopped functioning completely some 5 years ago, and I have never been as fast at typing on handheld devices since.
Bring it back you bastards! I WANT THE ACCURACY!!
As someone who had dumb phones, to iPhone 4 to iPhone 12, I had never heard of an iPod touch either.
Irys sounding ready to crucify Bijou. XD
wow princess problem
I always knew the iPod Touch as the iTouch as well. IRyS isnt totally alone with that.
Nokia N95 was probably the best phone i have ever owned.
dude that thing was amazing, my friend had one and I was legit blown away by it
0:55, that's gotta be the most sinister Iyrs has ever sound!
😱
Listening to Mumei and Irys in this conversation was kinda frustrating.
Ma gawd that little rock makes me feel old...
The earliest touchscreen phone I remember besides iPhone were from Sony. The old days...
given irys live in japan (where 70% of smartphone user there uses iphone)
i can understand her reaction
and USA is actually similar, as iphone has 60% of the market
my first apple thing was an ipod touch in like 2010. i like it so much i've had iphones ever since.
0:55 that accusatory tone when she says "android person" 😂
What’s wrong with Linkin Park? It’s ROCK, you know😂
"Linkin Park" based biboo, truly one of the people
To be fair to Biboo I didn't know what an itouch was until this video. I knew about ipods or iphones, but not an itouch. I grew up with a Nokia brick phone btw
1:56 Based Bibou
MP3 players always corrupted the files. Waking up to all the music gone was sad.
tons of options to hear music back then, i used to have music on my sony ericson t610, and on a panasonic mp3 player with 1gb. Apple nano sucks
Not that weird to not be aware of all Apple products. I don't buy Apple and the majority of phones out there are Android (first ones were in 2005). I just owned a dumb phone (just an old flip phone) before I got my Androids.
Apple fans love pretending that IOS has bigger marketshare but the fact is that Android is the bigger platform with much more choice. Just like PC is the bigger share of consumer computer market than Apple...and then when you look at industrial and enterprise computers Apple doesn't even clock in.
Ah the blackberry, good times
cased i knew i liked this rock
even the clipper is too young to know its ipod touch not ipad touch ☠
Subs are kinda off at points, they're saying iPod touch, not iPad, as before smartphones hit the market proper, there was the music player iPod touch, that basically looked like the smartphones did, but only for playing music. :P
I still remember having a "walkman" for playing cassettes, though off-brand, not a Sony one, same with for CD, off-brand "discman"
I did however finally get the brand one for playing MP3s, as I had a Sony Ericcsson phone that was also a MP3 player, so it was the official walkman phone, and I remember it being black with orange details, but that's still a smartphone, but older phones with buttons and all, still had a plug for earphones and the ability to add music to it.
Just a note for the subs, they're saying iPod Touch, not iPad Touch. Basically an iPhone without the phone stuff.
What do you mean "Blackberry have songs on it?", Mumei?
You can download songs on any phone that have internet and enough memory storage.
Am i that old? Im still download songs into my phone and never use music stream app at all?
No one i have ever met has ever called it an iTouch.
Biboo is a time traveler.
I just lived without music
I never own iphone thing too. I start with LG bluetooth to Nokia 6300 and then I swap to Samsung until now with Note8 so yeah. I only put music on my micro SD card and bluetooth with friend XD
Biboo like most ppl though apple product expensive most use android and other
Biboo probs uses a nokia/flipphone and she doesnt know that they are not android
Yup... I'm over 30 and I don't own a single Apple product... or a smartphone for that matter, I'm still using a regular cell phone. And I like it.
Honestly those days apple products were very very costly.
Nokia, was more affordable. Even blackberry was the status of rich kid in my friend's circle.
To be honest, I don't even know what an iTouch is either, and I'm probably one or two years older than Mumei and IRyS.
I was confused too. I always called them an iPod touch.
@@kaelanime7750 Now that I know. 😄
@@kaelanime7750no one calls it an Itouch besides Mumei. Or at least from my experience. Everyone always referred it as an Ipod Touch instead of Itouch.
2:41 Mumei: I never had a blackberry
*IRyS pikachu face on*
3:36 Dad phone / Linkin Park
*chat is on the right to ask Biboo sing this music*
My first phone was budget Samsung Exhibit 4G. Man i was so exited to have a touch screen. The phone was utter shite but i didnt care. Now people people place too much value on brands and while I've owned nothing but samsung phones for about a decade now its simply because they have everything i want and then some.
I don't think RisaKura knows what an iPod Touch is either...
Damn im also a boomer but i dont know the ipod touch either
imagine pulling up a rock, and underneath it you see: :D
IRyS mentioning the bomb game on Blackberry took me too far back my mom ran a home business and gave me her old Blackberry and I loved that game growing up.
Sometime before that though I had that T-Mobile Sidekick phone who remembers that?
damn i'm old as dirt aren't I?
Nokia express music was before iphone or "itouch".
I think we in Asia called it iPod instead of iTouch. But yeah, only the privileged people was able to get them. You were already the popular kid back in 2012 if you have an android phone. I remember having a real shitty earphones that sounds like a tin can and a weird Chinese touchscreen phone that you need to have gorilla strength so that it can register your inputs and it serves as my MP3 player because it has literally no other use except that and message/calls.
Ah 2012, blackberry golden year
yeah, those Chinese phones have touch screens but I can never touch them correctly 😂
iTouch isn't its official name, it's just shortened iPod Touch
In SG I called it iTouch, used to own a 3rd Gen
iTouch is exclusively a mumei thing
Huh? How can she not remember, the ipod touch didn't come out that long ago... oh my god, it's been sixteen years!
Me with my still running 12 year old iPod Touch 4th gen turning to dust.
IRyS would be the type of girl in grade school to say, “Ewwww! Android!”
damn Linking Park :D
Im too zoomer for this lmao
Im not zoomer. Im just poor. T_T
Used to have an iTouch 3rd Gen cos I couldn't afford an iPhone lol
Then a week later the 4th Gen got released, was so anguished. 😭
It's a core memory of mine
unrelated but biboo's fugi is genius and adorable
