I don’t usually go to a sushi restaurant at home, but I now realize there are a lot of great choices and it isn’t just raw fish! I enjoyed Izumi’s! Mochi ice cream is amazing!
I like both of those as well. I think people don’t realize that they both are such a nice experience. I go to Izumi’s or Chops for lunch sometimes, on sea days! I enjoy it! 🍤🍰
Bonnie, my wife and I are going on Brilliance in SEP 2025. So, there are only 3 specialty restaurants on her? In that case, we may not get the UDP since it would be a waste. We'll probably do the 3 night plan and eat dinner early while we are in port during our 7 night New England/Canada cruise.
Hi there, yes the ship has Chops Steakhouse, Izumi and Giovanni’s Italian. I had Izumi’s twice and the steakhouse for lunch. I think you could bypass the unlimited plan and enjoy your port stops! The main dining room has my time dining and that works nicely with port days. Or get a table for 2 at a scheduled time (work with the hostess early on) and show up at the dining room when you want to. It’s your choice!

Izumi has a lot of things you can’t find on the mainland or in the buffet and main dining room. Sensational desserts too.

Izumi ..I'm always down asian food, especially Japanese, although Chops steakhouse will be a close second.
