This is Why I Left Ghana to Return to the United States.....

  • This video is about why an African-American left Ghana to return to the land of his birth, Atlanta, Georgia, United States. After living so long in Ghana, I made the decision to move back to the United States temporarily. I moved to Ghana, bought land, planted a variety of fruit trees and began building a three story structure on the land. Ghana is great place to invest, and I offer advice pertaining to what is needed if you desire to develop land that you have purchased. Watch until the end to see the real reason why I temporarily left Ghana, West Africa!

I wish you luck, bro but I think in many ways you are short-sighted about this ghana. If you have to go back to the states to work money to go back to Ghana to finish your Po project doesn't sound right to me. After building the house how are you going to sustain yourself? No matter how strong the dollar is over there it will run quickly

My brother, I'm proud of what you are doing. Take it one day at a time and control what you can control. That's all you can do. The joy has to be found in the journey and I see a natural energy that the motherland gives you. Lord willing if the creek don't rise I will be able to break bread with you and pick your brain because I have a million questions on Ghana, land, etc. Blessings and peace to you my brother. Hi Zay, Came across your video randomly. I appreciate your positivity, perspectives about African Americans marrying native Africans, and the project you have going on in Ghana. When I was in ghana, I fell in love with the country. We were in Volta Region, explored Accra (so happy to chill at Afrikiko and dance some kizomba and salsa) and neighboring towns and also the Mole area. Loved it so much that it is one of the bases for a nonprofit some friends and I started a little while ago. Heading to Kenya next year but Ghana felt like home. So excited to watch your journey. Stay blessed.

For Afro Americans this nostalgia of Ghana seems to me to be a strange type of dream because you have gotten excited about leaving the USA.
Dont be too excited because in Ghana we dont have enough electricity and water in many parts of the nation somewhat.
Ghana is not yet the paradise it is supposed to be.
Apart from the large cities many Parts of the nation lack development.
Ghana is not yet the developed Western World you know.

Blessings. I really appreciated the message around the 10 minute mark about African Americans and marriage. The US in particular has been suffering through a really high separation and divorce epidemic and it's a testament to the division that has been occurring between our people and culture. We were family people before but now marriage is seen as a risk due to poor guidance and a justice system that benefits separation more than staying together. It's really worth praying over. I too have connected with an African queen from Rwanda and am marrying soon but I have tried American and its really sad the mentality of many of our sisters I've heard over the years.

I very much agree with Zayloc and you man! I'm an African American man in my early thirties and I made the conscious decision to be in a relationship with a native Nigerian woman in which I'm engaged to. Both of our values matched with each other which was somewhat difficult to obtain here in the U.S. with the African American ladies I came across. Much success and blessings to you and your African Queen!

You can pray but Apostle Paul said that it's best for people to be single and only marry if they can't control their flesh and will be single and fornicate. But hey maybe you'll be praying to someone else than his God. Personally, I don't think marriage is right for alot of people. There are many people that have a more peaceful existence being single.

Why are so sure that white people hate us that much in the Western World.
Otherwise why are so many moving towards the West for education and Opportunity.
